His method isn't the one you should always use, however. After you've gotten comfortable with that, try checking out Feliks' 4x4 walkthrough solves; I know some other cubers have them as well.

Yeah, I know that. I saw some walkthroughs where people paired more than one edge at a time, but I still have to get comfortable with the more basic method lol. What is a good time to solve the cube in the beginning ?

What are easy Last Layer methods to learn, as an intermediate method, between my 4 look LL in the beginner's LBL method and the 2 Look LL of Full Fridrich? I find the 2 Look LL to overwhelming...

Then learn the rest of the pll for 3 look last layer
Then learn the rest of the oll for 2 look last layer

Also, learning compound OLL can be fast if you learn to do it as one alg.

yeah, a lot of my OLL algs are just that - fast stuff like fruruf+sune, for example.

Ok, i have been really distracted by the fact that i do not use olls and plls or the last layer of the 3x3x3, i do mine by getting the yellow cross, then correcting the edges, then rotating the corners, then finishing them off, (or the beginner method)
I have tried learning the two look olls and plls, but everytime i try i do like 2 algorithms a day, and everytime i do such, the next day i cannot remember those and feel the urge to revert back to solving using the begginners LL, how should i go about learning the LL OLLS and PLLS? i already have a sheet of them printed off i am just having trouble learning them

i just kept practicing and practicing and I just instantly started memorizing them. i carried the algs around on a little index card and practiced them almost anywhere. so usually it just takes a little bit of practice

But my cube pops in every 10 solves when i go fast on it...
Am i turning it so hard that it pops..?
How to stop my cube from popping i have tighten my cube but still it pops..?

when you tighten it you are tightening it on every side right?
and maybe it is just you turning it to hard, but it also may be that you are not turning accuratley so u are relying on cornercuts the entire solve, i would say try to turn more accuratley

Could anyone link me or tell me how to tension a modded (florian) shengshou 5x5? It catches quite a bit. It's a new cube (probably 10-20 solves) Should I just wait to break it in? or should I put more lube in. It's not really turning great right now. Thanks!

If you're under 10 minutes, time is not a reason not to compete. No-one is going to care how slow you are, competitions are about having fun, making friends and learning new things.
