Hey everyone, there is this silicone spray which works quite decently well for me, however, I have discovered that some fumes are released after I spray it in my cube, so I was wondering if this would damage the cube's plastic(in the long run)

I'm with you on that one. A lot of the names don't make sense, I think they are mainly there to help you differentiate between OLL cases. Would you rather say "OLL 33 and OLL 45 look alike", or "Tying shoelaces and suit up look alike", or "The T-shapes look alike". It's all your preference.
Andy Smith once told me that he didn't know the dot OLL cases, because he uses edge control (ex. sledgehammer the last pair into place). Is there a resource for this "technique" or a rule of thumb? What exactly are you looking for during F2L before moving into OLL and how can you ensure you don't end up with a dot case? Thanks!

I you set up a dot case and take a pair out with R U R', you will get a dot case if you insert it with R U' R' ,but something else if you insert it with U' R' F R F' ,because the edge will be oriented/un-oriented, depending on which insertion you use.
I'm looking for some 4x4 info. I'm new to 4x4 (the only solve I've completed had no parity and the last 2edges just happened). I'm learning the yau method.
There's a few things I'm having a hard time finding answers to.
1 - edge pairing: I don't fully understand what 32223 means. I can pair three edges together by slicing first then setting up three sets on the E slice then slicing back. But I know that there's more to 32223 then that because I end up with two edges left to pair and I can't find any posts on how to deal with just two remaining pairs in yau. What is the idea behind 32223?
2- parity: I've seen a few posts talking about parity but they only mention the alg and not how to position the cube and what case(s) they are for. What's the difference between oll and pll parity? How many cases? And how many algs will I need?

For the last two edges, put them in FR and FL so that the front colours are the same (if you slice they won't match up). Then do Uw' R U R' F R' F' R Uw to pair the two edges.
OLL parity is when you reach OLL and you have an odd number of flipped edges (1 or 3). You can put any of your last layer edges at UF and do the following alg to flip it: Rw U2 x Rw U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw'.
PLL parity is where you reach PLL and you get an impossible PLL case (you have an odd number of edge/corner swaps). There are a few different algs for this, but the one I use is Uw2 r2 U2 r2 U2 r2 Uw2.
I have a Shengshou 4x4 (v4) and an Eastsheen. While I can honestly say that the Shengshou is much much better than the Eastsheen, I still do not like it since it locks up.. a lot. I am looking forward to buy a 4x4 that is as fast as the ShengShou 4x4 but does not not lock up a lot. Thanks.
