Hi! I recently bought a Shengshou 4x4 and 5x5 from different sites. The 4x4 come a little to loose and the 5x5 to tight. So my question is: is there any good guide/video on how to tension and lube this cubes? because I have no idea of what to do, I am kind of noob to big cubes. I made a little search but couldn't find any decent post. Thanks for advices.

Just take it one at a time. Cubing may reduce stress, but you probably won't do as good on your tests, so I wouldn't recommend it. It'll be stressful at times, but just keep thinking about the end of May, when it'll all be over and you'll have it all off your back.

A bunch of Standardized tests going on from here 'till End of May And I'm scared! How do I reduce stress?

My advice: take it one at a time and prepare early. You are not going to be as efficient as if you do it last minute, but you will feel more prepared earlier and less stressed. I would say make a schedule and plan your time. If you can, plan to study for like 2 hours (or whatever you feel is appropriate) everyday until it is all over. Also it is probably good to have your study time for each subject in line with the exam time. So if you have a test from 7:30-10pm or whatever, study at around that time for that subject, I found it helped me to associate my brain with that subject at that time a few days before the test.

I'm going to guess that you already tried to tension your cubes... if you are still uncomfortable with their feel you might want to start over and take your cubes apart entirely... that way you can see the core and the center pieces. For the 4x4 the tensions (I've noticed) are very tight and you can barely pull out on the centers and they move.

For 4x4's and larger they are difficult to tension. Just take your time and do 1/4 turns with each side until you find what feels good for you!

what's the difference between official speedstack and knockoff speedstack timers? do knockoffs break more easily, dont stop properly or what?

I don't know what the difference is...

I think it would be wise just to get the official speedstacks timer from speedstacks.com. (Although you are in Aus. you might not be able to order from speedstacks). You never know what you will get :P Larry Goers (Speedstacks President) says that any online store other than their own is not authorized to sell them online... in suspicion that they might be knockoffs.

Also, I have tried QJ timers. They work just fine but don't plug in to your computer.

5b5) If, after the solve, non functional parts of the puzzle are still defect (like a centre cap of a cube) or not fully rotated (like a 5x5x5 centre piece twisted in its spot), but the puzzle is otherwise unambiguously solved, the puzzle is considered solved. (discretion of the main judge)

Hmm, what if the center cap (singular) is not present even before the solve? and

B1d) Solving phase must be done on a puzzle with tiles, stickers or paint, without different textures or markings.

Does this apply to a missing center cap (singular) pre-solve?

I find they usually break a lot easier. I bought a QJ, and it started malfunctioning after a month or so. Also, I'm not sure if knockoffs can connect to computers (the one I bought couldn't, but there might be some that do).

How much does the 48 point edge mod really help a guhong v2? Does it just make it smoother or does it actually make it faster?

I have a Godly Guhong & the GV2 the Godly is smoother so the V2 would benefit from all of Izovire's Godly mods(Go to his YT site) if you want a cube that fast and smooth. P.S. Izo recommends the white V2's over the black one's.

What should be first cases I should learn in OLL after learning the 2 look OLL? I am thinking on learning all the dot cases first since it takes themost amount of time making the cross

I think you're right with the dots first, and some of the shorter cases which are easy to memo. I only learned the line/L shape OLLs though, i find that if you learn how to control edges then you can pretty much always avoid having the hideous dot cases pretty easily

That's a good approach. Try to learn dot cases in less than a week. The faster you learn oll, the better. Do it in a month if you can.
