Might have melted the plastic some.

I doubt that, I clean my cubes in reaalllly hot water. It takes a lot to melt. Most likely the lube got really greasy.

can i have links to youtube or something to learn it? (any 6x6x6 speed method)

Youtube last two centers 6x6.

for edges, use free slicing until last 4 edges.

On last 4 edges, I usually pair up the inner edges, turning into 5x5 last 4 edges. Then use 5x5 algs for last two edges.

Apply 4x4 parity algs for OLL and PLL.

Right now I know PLL, 2 step OLL, and F2L and my time is around 30 seconds. In my opinion, this is really slow for knowing this much. What should I do to get to around 20 seconds?

Cross average of 5 (with inspection: 3.14
F2L average of 5: 18.19
2sOLL + PLL: 10.33

You should try and improve your F2L and maybe your cross. When I was sub 25, I had no look ahead but my F2L+Cross times were 15-16. I would recommend learning lookahead though.

Well your cross is pi.

Before doing intensive F2L work, I would learn the dot OLLs, and practice getting your known OLLs and PLL, to under 2seconds each. Research each case because sometimes a different alg might suit you better.

From there I would work on last layer recognition. With this, your LL should get to ~5 seconds. Once you learn any new algs you might switch to, and practice performing them, do complete solves.

But during f2l, slow down a lot and try to get zero delays from one pair to the next, keep a consistent turn rate, once the last pair is inserted go into LL again keep a consistent turn rate.

Over time you will gradually get faster, but being consistent is important, delays add up over the coarse of a solve.

Anyone else still having trouble to contact izo (aka puzzleaddictions.com)? God damnit I sent my fifth email about the same problem and still nothing as an answer. I dont even know if he is receiving the emails. I am sending all the messages either through his contact form or directly via email. I'm starting to lose my hope with this one, I might even swap to thecubicle since the price difference isnt that big.

Go to the chat room. There's 4 people there right now. They will make sure izo gets the message.

How much Traxxas 50k lube will I need to lube a Fangshi and a Shengshou 4x4x4? It comes in bottle of 20cc (20ml)

Shows as "we're offline right now" like always. I've never seen it online. Could be an ip-block to Russia that somehow ate Finland with it, I don't know.

Not that chat, click the chat room button and choose a random name and type in the code thing and you get sent to the chat room.
clicky because apparently I can't images correctly

For fangshi shuangren, you don't need to lube the pieces so you only need 6 drops of lube (1 for each center piece, just lube the space between the core and center piece).
For the 4x4, if you are taking it apart,click/follow this. If you are not taking it apart, just try to go as deep into the cube as possible and squirt a little (make sure not to squirt too much, might make the cube super slow if you over lube) next to 1 corner/between or under the edges and the same thing to the other side of the cube and break the lube in.

In total, I would estimate about .5 cc of lube (kind of high estimate, ~.1cc for the fangshi and the rest for the 4x4).
