What is the best way to do l4e for 5x5 using free slice?

Look at Kevin Hays's example solves. Cyoubx also has a good tutorial on edges. Basically, you just use an intuitive combination of slicing, edge flipping, slicing back, and R2s/L2s for the first two. Then for L2E, you can either memorize all the cases or solve them intuitively with slicing, flipping, then slicing back and the parity algs if neede.

Shengshou 5x5 Piece Missing!!

Hello fellow cubers. The other day I was cubing and I happen to have popped my Shengshou 5x5 and a corner center piece fell into the grass. I thought it would be easy to find but that was not the case. I ended up mowing the lawn and going on all fours just to find the piece with no luck. I don't have a spare or anything and this is my main 5x5 that I use for everything and I don't want to buy another 5x5 just for one small piece.
If anyone with spare Shengshou 5x5 pieces could give me a corner center piece or could find me a place to get a spare that would be really great! Thank you and have a great day! -Javier

How can I become a moderator? I would like to help out the mods with their tough job. I browse the forum a lot so I would be very helpful.

I know I can't be come one.

You would need to have experience in the cubing community for a very very long time. Most of the mods I see have their WCA profiles go from 08 and below, with some cases of an 09. (Being the year)

Also, most of the mods are delegates/wr/some organizers

From what I have seen.

no, you just have to be a good forum member unlike you

Undeleted the last few messages because I think it is a valid question. Not sure why they were deleted.

New mods are added to the team when we feel there's a need for them. If reported posts start getting backed up, we may either focus more on them or add another mod.

I'll use Brest as an example, since he was one of the most recent additions. One of the mods recommended him on the hidden moderator forum saying the following:

Brest has consistently, for over a year, reported posts that need to be dealt with by the moderators. He's receiving votes for Best overall member 2011, and he also contributes to the forum with very high quality posts. In addition, he is a private forum member.

I strongly feel that Brest should be offered the chance to be a super moderator if this hasn't already been done.

So basically be best like Brest and you may have a chance.

Ok. Thank you for your response. I'll try to do a better job as a forum member.

Brest is amazing at his job though so that'll be tough.
