How to tension a dayan panshi?

Got my panshi on saturady and i have tried to tension it but the cube seems to feel lose and catch and if it goes tighter it doesnt seem to turn. Also when i lube it, the cube is hard to put back together(centres are loose) and then the lube rubs on to my fingers. The cube was also a DIY one.

Could I use this cube in competition? I know that you are allowed to use cubes of different sizes, but due to its size, I feel it would be annoying to scramble.

no rules against it. im using my crazy foot cube for oh as a joke, dont care about one hand solving. while there is no offical rule against it but 3k says, "Puzzles must be approved by the WCA Delegate before use in the competition." so if the delegate thinks you're trolling he could disallow it.

Defect probably.
Happened to me once:
Took the battery out and put it in again. That fixed it.

1. How many center caps may pop before it is a +2 and DNF?
2. I can't solve OH, but want to learn, may I do in a comp OH with a 50 millimeter cube and which cube do you recommend: 42-, 50-, 55-, or normal 57 millimeter?
