So I can just do those 2 algs in succession? Thanks, BM gave me a WAY different alg in his 2-look OLL vid that was REALLY hard to memorize. LOL.

His videos are fatastic, but i would look for your own Algs, a lot of his really do suck and i ended up regretting learning most of his Pll's.

Depends on the case. If it's for the sexyhammer then left index most likely. In lots of cases, though, such as F2L, I'd use my right thumb

Z, one last question, how do you and other top cubers finger F R' F' R for F2L without cube rotations? (I use my thumbs for F & F' and I want to get out of bad habits as a noob.)

Who wrote this on Wikipedia? Its terrible.

Yau method
Yau method is a modern speedcubing method, originally proposed by Robert Yau in 2009. The method was designed specifically to have the cube to be solved like a 3x3x3. It is generally used to solve the 4x4x4, but can be used to solve bigger cubes. It involves in solving the cube like a 3x3x3. The first half involves in solving the cente, the center edges, and the cross. Having the center edges in the right places will make the cube look like a 3x3x3. In the second half algorithms similar to one used to solve the 3x3x3. This method makes use of easy edge pairings, and have the cross done when you start the 3x3x3 part, but makes solving the center and finding the 3 first crossedges harder. This is widely used to speedcube a 4x4x4.

For example, the t-perm. You'll have to do a regrip if you want to do the F' with the left index finger on the last F'.

Really?

Thank you, kunparekh and arvind. I would hate to spend all that time learning the BM PLL caes only to find there were some simpler ones.

So do we class moving 1 finger slightly, as a regrip?

Maybe not. But that would slow us down just a bit where as our thumb is already ready to do the F'.

I don't know about you but I can't do F' with my left index while my left thumb is on the F face. I have to move my thumb to D face.

I personally don't find that my finger is even out of position. It may be because I do the last U' with my left middle finger, not index
