It's water based so would probably dry out and leave a nasty reduce.

How fast could I expect this? would topping it up every few days or so keep in good?

So is maru.

I don't know what would happen but ewwwww.

I have tried it, on my old cube. Seems very good so far actually. As good as any lube i've tried. We'll see how it is in a few dayss

These are just some random ones I found on Cube Explorer. Some have AUF's, the default is UBL and UFR switched, along with UB and UR.

Puzl.co.uk SS 4x4

Hey again,

Hope this doesn't get deleted.. It is kinda a different question.

Just wondering if anyone has bought a SS 4x4 from Puzl.co.uk lately? I need to know if it is a V3 or not.

I phoned them and asked but they havent got a clue. All he could tell me is that they were only stocked within the last 3 months so will be the latest version. Is the latest v3??? lol.

Any help would be great.

The latest ones are v4. Some people claim the difference to be minimal. I have 2 v4's one modded and one stock, and they are awful. Feels like a very poor plastic. I also hav a v3 and it's awesome, feels totally different.

Yeh :/ I need to find where I can get a V3 like you have before the UKO.. My SS is ok but feels tacky and locks up alot :(

Sorry guys but I still don't get it. Let's think about it. What I'll get if:(for example):
1.I'll learn how to orient edges(cross) at U while doing last slot
then
2.I'll learn COLL which gives me ability to permute and orient corners.
That really doesn't give me anything. I just have to use aa complicated alg to get all edges oriented while doing last slot and then(COLL is hard to recognize) I have to use one of 42 not standard algs to permute and orient the corners. It just doesnt make sense. Isnt it faster to just do F2L and then easy to recognize and perform OLL and then PLL alg? Those COLLs and ZBF2Ls just making no sense at all. Someone said that first I need to use COLL then ZBLL. How? COLL is already orienting and permuting the corners so I can to ZBLL alg because U is already oriented(I have to use one of 6 algs for edge permutation after COLL). I dont get the idea of learning COLL or ZBF2L because it is just harder to perform long alg which in fact only makes my PLL shorter but that doesnt matter coz I have to do more moves for COLL and ZBF2L so I have the same number of moves to solve the cube at all. Explain me in what way and how does learning COLL,ZBF2L,WV etc help to get better times because I see only complicated algs that in fact are longer than standard algs for (for example) Sune:(example) standard Sune -7 moves, some random sune from COLL -12 moves, before ZBF2L: 10 moves instead of 5 moves, now the last thing PLL U perm for example(instead of V perm without using COLL and ZBF2L)8 moves I think. This is just the same number of moves in solve but with hard cases to recognize and new algs to learn which really is just a waste of time.If im wrong explain me this because I cant undrstand how learning COLL, ZBF2L etc etc will improve my times

Then please tell me what should I learn to get faster at last steps of solving rubiks cube. Something what really gives an advantage over just simple last slot insertion-OLL-PLL.

2 look OLL algorithm?

With 2look OLL there is a case that's called: Headligths.

Do you know the algorithme for this?

I do know it, but you seem to be implying you don't, and that you'd like to know it. Just in case that's the case, here's the alg which the majority of people are capble of finding through google: R2DR'U2RD'R'U2R'

edit: just to make my ninjad post useful:
x'RU'R'DRU2R'D'RU'R'

Faster Last Slot Insertion - OLL - PLL. You can learn COLL and other subsets(wv, sv, Magic Wondeful, RV, ELL, 2GLL etc.) if you want too, but using zbf2l for orienting edges for coll is slow. Learn coll first.

Then why do people learn ZBF2L?or COLL? This is just making OLL etc very complicated. But what it really gives me learning COLL?I cannot understand what orienting the corners and permuting them with complicated alg give me to speed. I think it makes whole OLL and PLL slower lol

ZBF2L - orients edges for ZBLL.(about 400-500 algs, 1-look LL)
COLL + EPLL may be faster for some people than corner OLL+PLL WHEN YOU SKIP EDGE ORIENTATION. In one hand for sure.

Most of subsets actually save moves, that's why people learn them.

Re: The One Answer Question Thread

Like I said, higher chance of epll skips is quite cool, also you said it makes no sense for sune which is the accepted conclusion for even coll users. COLL users don't use algs for sume, they just sune or antisune into pll. Also I said learn coll first because it gives you practice in sticker recognition. You don't do coll then zbll in a solve.

I learn coll so I don't have to worry about plls that I hate, like e perms. And because epll is easy to do fast. Also keep in mind I worry nor about last layer edge orientation because I'm primarily a zz solver so I always get a last layer cross without any extra though in how I would orient during f2l because I know its already oriented.

The One Answer Question Thread

Well. I heard some people saying that table abuse has been banned? (i.e keeping the cube on table for turning in OH) . can someone please confirm this? Because that is how i have been used to practising and done in previous two comps .

Where did you hear this? Who said such a thing...?
