Should I use Lubix on the core of big cubes, or CRC on the pieces?

i think lubix slows down big cubes if im not mistaken, have u tried maru or a low viscosity oil
I just stopped using a pillowed V-Cube 3 and am now using an un-pillowed. After the switch, I found my times went up by about 10 seconds (to averages of 40s). Any advice on how to switch over? And are there any reasons why my fingerings are horrible?

Relax, it's just that your hands are not used to the cubic shape yet. Solve it a few more times and you should be fine.

What algs should I learn once I finish full OLL? Should I learn more OLL/PLL algs so I can do them from multiple angles, learn some kind of last slot thing like WV or what?

Finately do NOT use CRC or any aerosol spray for that matter. It's only ever somewhat good on a smaller cube (3x3 or 2x2), and even then not that great. Use Maru. If you don't want to replace it so often, you can try 30k wt diff oil, but I've never personally tried it (though I assume it would work fine).

On big cubes, CRC for everything. Maybe some Lubix in the core.

I am about to mod a SS 4x4, 5x5 and probably 6x6 and 7x7. What should I do to them? I think I will do Konsta and florian's mod. I think I will do Florian's mod for the 5x5 and 6x6. I am unsure what to do with the 7x7. Also, which cubes should have their screws and springs swapped with C4U or dayan?

I accidentally got a sharpie stain on one of my zhanchi's yellow stickers. It's pretty yucky looking. I would post a picture but I don't know how to insert a picture that doesn't have a url. (help?) So, it looks kind of like a weird brown smudge that was wiped horizontally. It's on about 1/4 of the sticker, on the outside part. It's really quite noticeable. Would I be able to use this cube in competition?

Are all megaminx easy to lock up during twists? Mine locks up alot, are their mods or something I can do to reduce lockups? I do not mind shaving

I am going to assume you have a Mf8 VII.
Shaving all excess plastic on the corners, edges, and centers.
Lube and retension the core.
Do AV corner mod to the corners.
Do the same thing to the four edges of the edges.
Do the same thing to the five edges of the centers.
Makes a megaminx great.

Where is the best place to buy a helicopter cube? Mefferts has been out of stock for what seems like forever.
I've got a first gen. stack-mat that I have been using until not so long ago. It started acting weird. After I would reset it, and when I released my hands for the next solve, it would freeze at the zero second mark, right where the screen flashes that sort of greenish color. I literally have to turn it off and on again every time so that it won't freeze on me when I start it. And even then, I have to act quickly after I turn it back on or it will still freeze for most of the time. I assure you I have used everything correctly. Should I get a new stackmat or try to fix this one? And has anyone ever had this problem before?

I seem to be having trouble with jflysim+qqtimer. The cube isn't showing up on the page. T.T I also can't find the applet options. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

seems fine to me
"show timer options" link at the top, and options checkbox above the cube.
