Whats the best 4x4 avaliable on the market ? , that can cut corners, thats smooth and fast ? Thank you guys (:
Dayan+mf8 4x4 is a little expensive, but can cut corners and is smooth. The downside is that it's sort of big (although that might not be a problem if you have big hands) and that it pops frequently (again, might not be a problem if you can turn accurately).

The SS v3 is cheap and a pretty good cube. It locks up a little bit, although a bit of modding can help that, but it never pops. It's small, so that can either be a good or a bad thing depending on the size of your hands.

I've heard the x-cube can be really good if you break it in, but in my opinion, it's not worth the $40-50 dollars that it costs. Even if it's better than the Dayan or the SS 4x4, it's probably not worth the extra $30.

I've tried just about every 4x4 out there. There's never going to be a best cube, but out of all of them I would say most people would agree that the SS V3, Dayan+mf8, Xcube are better than others.

My opinions on them:
X-cube: I hated it. The inner layers felt like crap. It had occasional internal pops, and it was way too expensive.

Dayan+mf8: I really like this cube. It is a bit bigger than other 4x4's, but since I have big hands I didn't mind. (don't buy a mini one assuming it will be as good as the big one, just smaller. That is not the case.) The only complaint I had about that cube is that it popped, but once I learned to control it, I barely ever popped it.

SS V3: Another good cube. This is now my main. (it replaced the Dayan+mf8) After using this cube the Dayan feels slow/sluggish in comparison. And it has never popped on me. The only complaint I had about this cube was that it had some pretty gnar lock ups. There are mods you can do to fix them, but since I've broken it in mine never locks any more.

That's my two cents. Do with it what you please.

What does this mean?

H1b) Total time allowed for memorising and solving is 10 minutes per cube, measured with a stopwatch.
H1b1) When the total time is reached, the attempt is stopped and the number of solved and not solved puzzles is counted.

10 minutes per cube as in if memo + solve for one cube is 11 minutes, it's a DNF? How exactly should the judge time the competitor? For example, I do a 3-cube multi attempt. I memo cube 1 in 7 minutes. Then I memo cube 2 in 3 minutes, and cube 3 in 3 minutes. Then I decide to review cube 1. Review as in re-memo. I take another 5 minutes for cube 1. Then I don the blindfold and start solving. Regardless of the solving time, I already spent 12 minutes on the first cube. Outcome? Thanks.

Since you're solving 3 cubes, you would get 30 minutes of total time to memorize AND solve all 3, the time for one cube doesn't count against that limit. However, if by the time the 30 minutes are up, you have only solved 2 of the 3, you will have to be finished and cubes are counted as they stand.

I believe there are, but don't take my word for it. I'm sure that they are extremely rare, since even a single cross that takes 8 moves isn't common

I am having a LanLan 2x2, and I am soon going to buy a WitTwo instead.

But to get my LanLan as good as possible while waiting for the WitTwo, what to do. I have not lubed it, and the only lube I have is CRC.

Is it worth lubing it?
Is there something else to do?

Am I the only one who has this problem it's on my square-1 really fast cube but when I do a U move then I do / move the cube falls out of my hands like its wanting to make the move but it can't cause the top layer is misaligned?
...What? Are you saying it's locking up, or are you actually dropping the cube?

I had a LanLan once, and lubing it with CRC sped it up some. Other than that, I don't think there are any mods to do to the LanLan.
