I would be very interested in hearing what this experience is like for you, and I suspect others here would too. Please post something on Speedsolving.com about your experience after you're done! (A video might be nice too - it would be fun to see what a team solve looks like.)
Keep practicing. Even if you're getting worse. Keep solving until you get back down.
You'll find yourself solving many many times which is good practice.
Happens to me, and I usually solve for ages, getting worse and worse until my hands can't take it anymore.
Then, next day, I've improved. It's like developing your muscles... You have to work them to the point of exhaustion.
It depends on how you do the U.
If you do Japanese fingertricks then its better to do two single flicks.
If you do index finger push for U, then its better to do a double flick.

Does anyone know when the US Nationals 2011 Movie is going to be released? HelpCube said it was going to be done three weeks ago but I can't find it on his YouTube channel.
My friend does it on the left, and generally, if you get very comfortable with performing it on the bottom the cross may be just as fast, but your first F2L recognition will be faster, and thus a faster overall time.
How can I reduce edge pops on my mf8 + dayan 4x4? It pops really often, maybe once every solve. I tightened in the screws on the 2x2 ball core all the way and the centers are at a somewhat tension. Its also really stiff since I don't think I've been breaking it in enough. But does anyone know how to reduce the edge pops? D:

sorry if this has been answered before, and I have searched some but couldn't find a definite answer: My Zhanchi's center caps fall off once in a while, and if I was in a competition and one or more center caps fall of in the middle of the solve, do I have to put the center cap(s) back on or can I just continue solving as normal and stop the timer when the cube is solved with the center caps off?
