I've been terribly confused by those dayan/mf3 crazy 3x3s (linked above), why are there 8 different versions? Are they just colour differences, and if so why would anyone spend $150 buying all of them in a bundle? There has to be something to them that I'm missing.

Each planet has a different combination of faces that have the circle turning or the circle stationary, so each one is different.

lol.
anyway,
you could take up drumming, its pretty fun. Just by a practice pad and some sticks and build some chops

I've started using my Guhong some more and there is something about it that is really bugging me. On the corners, where parts of the corners connect, there are gaps, as if they are not fully connected. The problem is, I cannot get those gaps to go away, regardless of how I assemble the corners. This is not only annoying but it also hurts my fingers. I have two corners that don't have this issue. Is there anyway to get rid of this problem?

The slowing happened before I put d39 in, the mixing had no effect on the speed...

I have 30wt Shock oil, D39, lubix, and CRC, what will speed it up the most, perhaps a different lube?

30wt shock oil is fairly high weight. Could gum it up more then make it fastar.

No, it's not, as asked before, if you are going to answer a question, please get it right.

COLL preserves the first two layers and the orientation of the last layer edges all the time.

Quote from wiki "Edges of Last Layer, or normally ELL, is a method that solves the last layer edges of the 3x3x3 in one algorithm as the last step in the solution, normally after performing CLL to solve the last layer corners."

Therefore COLL-ELL is a 2LLL method. Unless I am missing something.

A lot of people bring ear plugs, especially when they know its going to be noisy. Just don't talk too loud and the other competitors probably won't even notice you

This, I brought it to LSCO and it worked wonders. Complete silence and you can concentrate SO much better. I bring some to every competition where I compete in BLD now.

Yeah it gummed it up somewhat, I'll clean and relube with lubix/D39, that's what I had on it originally and it was great.
