Sorry for the noobish question, but if you have PLL parity in the 3x3x3 step of 4x4x4, but you don't actually have to do the PLL (just correct the parity), does it count as a PLL skip or no?

In my opinion, no. But I don't have a 4x4 so I guess my opinion don't count.

how often do you guys lube your cube?cos i have to lube mine every week,otherwise the cube would be really dirty inside.

The white dust is called cube dust. It's just the plastic wearing down because of the friction. You should probably clean your cube when it's dirty.

That's the thing though, i did clean my cube when i saw it was dirty, but the dust came back after a few solves.

hi I have had two Guhongs now for about a month (both lubed with Lubix).

I've found that for both of them, they have become way too loose to handle. I have tried tightening them, but that has pretty much eliminated any corner cutting that they used to have, and causes lockups. Has anyone else had this problem?

True, lol. but the ones that i know that work on both were my previous algs i knew from 3x3 for 2LOLL. lol



Thanks since i just started using the westonian thing, this will be great practice

use westons turn style hard at first but faster in the long run
also i recomendd you learn the 2gen H perm

It's actually from the lube drying up I think.

while i spent time searching, are there any 2gen adjacent and diagonal corners algs at all?

if you mean in regards to verdes recent screw up, then not illegal in comps like i thought at first as well, just illegal to sale. sorta.

You can not sell them right now. It is illegal because of Verdes at this time which is my understanding. However in comp they are perfectly legal. Just distributing them is

No there isn't. It's impossible to have corner permutation done 2gen. Edge permutation can be done 2gen though. 3gen is the minimum needed for any sort of corner permutation (diag/adjacent)
