Winter Variation Algs - http://absolutemind.pagesperso-orange.fr/f2ll-angl.htm

ZZ-WV and ZZ-c is basically the same.

Try reading the wiki before saying something like that. ZZ-c is not the same as winter variation, it is more algs. The wiki puts it, ZZ-c is to ZZ-WV as ZBF2L is to VHF2L. He was not asking for WV algs, he was asking for ZZ-c algs.

CLL, lol because some if not all of those algs can be applied to a 3x3, depending on which ones you learn.
and then you can learn the edges ones and skip OLL and PLL altogether. lol

wrong. In his post, he said "CLL (2x2)". Good 2x2 CLL algs are optimized for 2x2, on which you do not have to worry about any edge pieces. If you want to do a CLL/ELL system for 3x3 last layer, you would need a different set of algs than what would be used for 2x2. For example, take a CLL alg from Woner's site: R' U R' F U' R U F2 R2. Do that alg on a 3x3 and look what happens.

Whats it take to be a mod?
lol. Just Curious.

For starters, it takes not continuously giving people incorrect information without research even after people tell you so many times to stop doing it.

Knowing CLL would be a good start before saying something like this. Considering that almost half my CLL algs double as OLL's, COLL's or CMLL's. Besides the fact that he is talking about 2x2 CLL, you're pretty much right. And he's really not.

Right now I'm going apologize for the posts I have made earlier today. I am sick, and in a bad mood after having to take finals while I am sick, both of which contribute to a lack of ability to think clearly (or lack of desire to think clearly?), and this has been clearly showing in my posts...

You mean I was right or he was right? lol

not all CLL algs are optimixed for 2x2, Im halfway through CLL and have at least 5 algs that work on a 3x3. All of my algs come from wither the ss wiki, or Rowes youtube videos. So when CLL is done, you could have 10 or so 3x3 COLL algs already learned, meaning 30ish left, which is 20 less than starting OLL from the beginning.
I could give example, but I havnt touched my 2x2 in over a month, so I cant remember any off the top of my head. except sune.\

Been working on my OH for a few days, and before I start full PLL transitioning, I want to optimize my 2LPLL.
What is the best PLL alg, either Y or V (diagonal corner swap), and Z , for OH?
also is there a site with a list of OH optimized algs? I dont have the time to search around at the moment, but have looked in the past and did not find any.

Just because they work on a 3x3 doesn't mean they aren't optimized for 2x2.
Only if you like learning really bad CLL's.

z perm is long ish but esy to rememberr and fun to execute i use R' U' R U' R U R U' R' U R U R2 U' R'

True, lol. but the ones that i know that work on both were my previous algs i knew from 3x3 for 2LOLL. lol

Thanks since i just started using the westonian thing, this will be great practice

Do you do edges or corners first? If edges first like most, then count how many peices you have to solve, or basically, how many times you perform the T or J (assuming Old pochmann)
If hte number is odd, then you must apply the R perm, if not, then don't worry about it

Thanks! That's what I thought it was but couldn't remember for sure and I wasn't about to sift through badmephistos half hour long BLD tutorial to find it. I've been practice just BLD edges so far and I'm going to try full solves soon.

How do I know when I need to apply the BLD edge parity (R-Perm)?
If you solve corners first, memorize in pairs. e.g If you want to memorize a b c d, memorize ab cd. When permuting corners, if you end up with e.g ab cd ef g then the corners are solved, you'll end up with two edges switched. Intentionally switch two corners to have pairs e.g ab cd ef gH (h is you're corner switch alg, which will solve the messed up edges). Solve the edges knowing there are two switched corners. You'll noticed you're edges also have one letter left alone (ab cd ef g), so when you finish solving the edges (getting to the example letter g), you know you have two edges and two corners switch. Do R perm. I'm assuming you used old pochmann because you use r-perm as parity.

EDIT: Ninja'd
