What is the main reason skweb is not yet an official event?

It took a while for the V cube 6 and 7 to become official events. So there is still hope for the future.

Biggest waste of money ever. Don't buy it.

I found one on sale for 5 dollars, its was actually fun, for about 5 minutes, lolo.
Im thinking of somehow putting the electronics into a void cube, but havnt figured out the battery part yet, lol
The rubiks slide is wayy better and very challenging sometimes.

Eric, let the mods do their job, you don't need to tell them how to do it.

actually if you read the rules page, it tells you to backseat mod. See 1.E here

CLL and ELL does,
COLL and EOLL is just for orientation. basically the same as 2 look OLL or 2LOLL
COLL permutes corners as well as orienting them. Can you please know what you are talking about before you give people random answers that are wrong?
EOLL solves edges while ignoring corners, it can be paired with [wiki]L4C[/wiki] to make a 2LLL method. COLL solves the last layer corners while preserving F2L and LL edge orientation. But it may mess up their permutation, so you can't use it with EOLL.

EOLL orients edges while ignoring corners, it can be paired with [wiki]L4C[/wiki] to make a 2LLL method. COLL solves the last layer corners but not preserving F2L and LL edge orientation all the time. But it may mess up their permutation, so you can't use it with EOLL.

EOLL is just orientation here
aand COLL doesnt preseve edge orientaion so you would have to do either COLL then ELL or ELL/CLL visa versa
so i was partially wrong

EOLL-Edge orientaion of last layer
ELL- edges of last layer
COLL- Corners of last layer, doesnt preseve edge orientation
CLL_ same as COLL but preserves edge orientation
and CO- is corner orientation.
to me they are all named inconsistently.
all my information come straight from the wiki

Looking at that again i was partially wrong also. You were right about EOLL, i misread the wiki article, but you are still stubbornly wrong about COLL. COLL preserves the first two layers and the orientation of the last layer edges all the time. OCLL orients corners while usually preserving edge orientation and F2L. CLL for 3x3 solves the corners of the last layer while ignoring the edges of the last layer and does not have to preserve orientation or permutation.

Then I give up on what he's trying to ask.

I'm sorry thats how I was taught. My brother told me it was a parity technically. Ive solved the 4x4 like 5 times in my life so I'm not well versed in it. Matching up the last 2 edges is indeed what I was looking for. And I did indeed search first but I didn't come across the alg.

Thanks for your time.

False.

haven't we told you not to say **** without knowing what you are talking about?

CLL does not preserve edge orientation.
COLL does preserve edge orientation. What do you think the O stands for in COLL? I know just about full COLL, so I think I would know whether or not it preserves edge orientation.

quote from wiki:

"COLL (an abbreviation for Corners of Last Layer) is a method in the CxLL group that solves the Last Layer corners in one algorithm, while preserving the F2L and the orientation of the LL edges."

so much for your info coming straight from the wiki >_>

here is the alg that I use for last two edges on a 4x4. Do the inverse to set it up to make sure you know how to line up the edges before trying to use it in a solve:
Dw R F' U R' F DW'

Dw, R, F', U, R', F, Dw'

yeah its WCA vs SiGN notation. Dw is move the bottom two layers to the right

Yea I'm just used to that notation. Thanks a lot guys. I really appreciate it.

Also...is there some cure you guys have for nerves at comp? I averaged 14 seconds above what I normally avg (24 seconds to 38 seconds) at comp today. My hands were shaking during solves. I dunno what to do..
