yes,i m askin for a gud tutorial on CLL 2x2

skip the tutorial and just learn the algs.

http://www.speedcubing101.com/cll.html

basically solve bottom layer and solve top layer in one alg

rowe has some recognition tips on his channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/rowehess

and erik has a tutorial if you really need it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4WVutkJqic

hope this helps

at first id reccoment learning the sune and anti sune ones first and using 2LOLL to get to either a sune or anti sune case then apply the correct alg.
this what i did until i started getting sub-8 every time, then i added another set of cases, until sub 7, and repeat
I currently have almost 4 sets memorized and avg around 6-10 seconds.

What size stickers fit a storebought rubik's cube?

what can i do to recognize PLL/OLL/F2L ?
my recognition time is very slow sometimes :/

practice practice practice

and slow down until you can solve it with no delays. even if it takes you 60 seconds to do it. slowing down helps over time

Is doing ZZ method for 2h bad? I know its majorly used for OH but apparently my brother says its worthless for 2h

hmm good question. lol
I started learning ZZ because it seems to have its benefits. mainly 2 gen solving for the most part. but it takes a lot of practice to get really good at the EOLine which is the most important part. I gave up on learning it for 2h, but i still practice it with 2h to get the EOLine semi consistent then i will move to one handed.

I didn't say it was worthless, why do you continually put words in my mouth?

You said this and i quote from your texts

zz is worthless for 2h. Eoline takes 2 seconds for you probably to do eoline. All switchinng to zz would do is make u not leran oll and ublock building (if u even do that). If anything do roux if u wanna be special

which is great for OH , eoline is just an extra step which makes your OLL easier

though RUL does remove rotations which is nice, though it's just not up to par to match fridrichs speed

Dunno about you, but RUL is deadly fast, much more than all the rotations and Fs and other icky things in CFOP F2L.. I think EOline seems worth it to me, I guess it's your choice though.

What precisely are the definitions of 2gen and 3gen? That is,
Is 2gen using R and U, or any two sides? Of course, we can assume that the two sides aren't opposite, as scrambles with only L and R are trivial.
However, is 3gen strictly made of R, U, F?
What about R, U, L, where two of the sides are opposite? Corner permutation is now possible, but edge orientation is still not. Is it like 2.5gen or something?

2gen= any sequence of moves that only requires any 2 sides to be turned.
3gen= same but 3 sides

2 gen stands for two generator which means that any two sides is 2 gen but when someone says 2 gen they usually talk about [U, R]. But 2 Gen could also mean U-Perm and Sune or any alg.

The hardest part of zz for me was getting my left hand close to the speed of my right hand.
So i mainly use ZZ to train my left handed algs, and look ahead. Since learning ZZ i can do the entire cross in the inspection face unlike 3 pieces before :D
