Ok this isn't really just one questions, but I don't wanna post a new thread just to ask. Yes, I did use the search function but I didn't find the answer I was looking for.

1. Is there any other site or than cube4you and other stores from China, Japan, Korea, etc. where I could get a good quality DIY cube (3x3) w/o it costing so much? I live in the America and the shipping is way too much or would take too long. I checked ebay but I'm not really sure if I want to purchase from there. I've also check PuzzleProz, but I think he's moving his inventory or something and there's nothing in his store. I tried emailing the owner but it's been a week and no reply. I've also look around and saw some links but none in close to America or some of them don't even work anymore. Does anyone know where else I could get one?

2. Also does anyone know where I could get a Mirror block (bump) cube? I've beening looking for one, but I don't know how to tell if they're real or a knock off. Do they still only sell them online or in Japan, or do they offer it in stores in America yet? I wanna get one, IMO they look pretty cool.

3. I know Cubesmith stickers are way better than the original stickers, but how good are Cubesmith sticker really and about how long to they last (moderate usage)? I'm asking because I kinda have long nails and I'm afraid I might just scratch them off or make them wear out faster. I also don't know how many to get. If they wear off quickly I guess I'll stock up and buy extras.

4. I was also wondering how to they chose the place to have a competition? I don't mean like the venue, but like the city/state. I've checked on the WCA website and there hasn't seem to be one near me. (Not saying I'm good or anything, just thought it might be cool to meet some other cubers in my area)

I'm really sorry if these have been asked before and that they're pretty noobish questions. Hopefully someone could give me some answers please.

3. Cubesmith stickers have been great for me.
I've had them on my main speedcube for 6+ months and they're in near perfect condition, and I've put them in water for a while and gotten silicone all over them. They also come off nicely for when it's time to replace them, but the adhesive is also good enough so that the stickers don't come off unless you try to take them off.

4. Competition are wherever the organizer selects, but the decision is also influenced somewhat by the location of delegates. Usually it will be close to where the organizer/delegate lives.

I just made my 5th order from cubesmith, this one was 27 dollars worth. I love their service, fast shipping, and great quality products. By far my favorite cube retailer. Another tip, cubeforyou is my least favorite, and the only reason I still buy anything there is the cubeforyou brand speedcube. I love it. Other than that the guy is an idiot, his service is horrible, and standard shipping takes over a month.

Mirror blocks are available on eBay for 25-30 dollars (for a real one). A clue to see if it is real is to see if it says NIB(new in box) on the listing. Normally sellers will be honest if you ask if they are original.

I really think that this thread should be stickied. Too many people are making new threads just to ask one question. Mods could enforce it by merging the threads they make to this topic.

Any takers?
