How to use 4LLL?

So, I just finished memorizing all the Algorithms for 4LLL. Yay.... Except I actually have no clue how 4LLL works, how to do it in order, and I suk at recognition right now. Is there any tutorial that can help me out??

How do you guys do d and d'? With the thumb and stuff? I just cube rotate!
Also, how do you practice look ahead? and f2l tips?
If this is during F2L, just rotate; it isn't slower. If it's during that V perm I have no idea, I use a different one.
Turn slower. Turn as slowly as you need to so that you can solve the F2L without pausing. You don't have to turn at the same rate all the time, but don't pause. Slowly increase your turning speed until you can go decently fast (but still not full speed) without pausing. When I do that I get times around the same as normal, sometimes faster.

So I have some goals for nationals, and I'm just wondering if you guys think that they are realistic enough. (And what would be more realistic if they are not) Note that events that I am under the cutoff for I'm not really focusing on here.

5x5: 2:20 (current is ~3:05)
6x6: 4:30 (I don't solve it too often, just base it off of my 7x7 times)
7x7: 6:30 (~10:00)
Get a 4+5BLD success (I just need to learn a few of the special U2, M2, and r2 algs, I can also do a 3-4 cube multi)
Square-1: 2:00 (I get the basics, I just can't solve one yet)
Clock: 30 (currently don't have one lol)
Megaminx: 2:20 (~4:00)

Do the washers on a Zhanchi go rounder-looking side in or out?
I'm not sure if there actually is a rounder side, or if it's just me.

I average literally exactly the same as you for 5x5, 7x7 and Megaminx. I don't know how fast you improve/how much time you are willing to practice in the next couple of weeks, but to me they seem a little hard to get to, especially since you'll probably have some nerves for nats. The goals that I would make in your position since I average the same as you would be to make 5x5: 2:30, 7x7: 7:15, and megaminx 2:45. Since you'll be working to improve at many events at the same time. You might improve quicker than most though.

Thanks! What V perm do you use?

for vperm/gperm i push on FL and FDL with my left thumb
I was also thinking of doing this. How do you grip the U layer for this?

I was wondering what other cubing forums are out there. I know of this one, Twisty Puzzles, and a Chinese forum (I think people call it the mf8 forum). Are there others?

I know that this forum is focused mainly on solving the cube, and the Twisty Puzzles forum is focused mainly on building new puzzles. What are the other forums focuses? Is there a forum focused on speedcube design?
