I was wondering what that method is called?
Layer By Layer (LBL) or "beginners method"

I was wondering what the best/most popular Lubricating method and oil
"Differential Oil" (used in remote controlled cars) is popular.
I recommend Traxxas 30k or 50k (30,000 or 50,000). You can get this on Amazon or eBay, or at a hobby shop that stocks RC cars.
Check out the Lubrication Thread.

Also, what method did the 2 top guys ( the guys with the 5:55 record and the 2nd guy with the 5:66 one) were using when they solved
Mats and Feliks both use CFOP (Fridrich)

Another thing, what average should I have before I start joining competitions?]
Any speed, it doesn't matter. Although it is best to be under 10 minutes, as the timers used don't go over this.
Some competitions have a cut off for certain events, but for 3x3 it's often 10 mins.

Hey guys, I was wondering:is there an android/iPhone app that can give you all the algorithms you need other than 3x3 algs? One more thing, is there many other tutorials I can use for bld other than badmephisto's tutorial?

I guess Badmephisto android app ?? I dont use it in mobile. Or print out the algs, or take a picture of it. Many possiblities

Are there any Winter Variation algs where the connected pair is at UFR and UF, instead of UFR and UR?

Will the corner/edge/center caps from a v1 Fangshi fit a v2? In other words, could I transfer the already stickered caps from my 57mm v1 onto a new v2?

So I was practicing different ways to do H-perms to see what felt good with my attention half-divided somewhere else, and I looked down at my cube and I still had a solved bottom layer and white top face, but every side had an inverted T-shape coming from the bottom (and the 4 pieces that weren't part of the T shape were the opposite face's color). Does anyone know an algorithm that creates this shape from a solved cube? It will involve a lot of Ms and Us and look a lot like an H-perm, I probably over/under-rotated a U or M while messing around. It's a cool shape and I want to be able to make it later on purpose, lol. (EDIT - It looks like this: http://imgur.com/AIptCzP)

This is probably not how you did it, but:
R' L' D2 R L F' B' D2 F B

Edit: M2 U M2 U2 M2 u M2 D U might be what you did.

That is 6 T algorithm, but my algorithm creates T's on all 6 faces. Is it on 4 faces or just 2 faces on the cube because here you go to create T's on all 6 sides of the cube

F2 R2 U2 F' B D2 L2 F B

What does 'sub' means? Like sub 10, sub 20. I think the number is the time. But what is 'sub'? Silly me for not knowing this.

What algorithms should I learn to get around 20-25. I average about 30 seconds. I know advanced F2L and 2 Look OLL and about half of my PLL's. I know I need to learn the rest of my PLL's. Is full OLL and COLL worth it?

I know practicing is important.

Thanks,

Zach

To get to 20 seconds, just full PLL and practice.

Learn full OLL at your own pace.

Learn COLL later, if you feel the need.

How to make cube diagrams?

I want to create a cheat sheet for a 3x3x3 cube. I know there are a lot around, but there are some algorithms that I use and find good. So, I want to create a cheat sheet for myself. I want to know if there is some software or online tool at all, that I can use to get the images. Something like this:

I want to create images like this. Kindly help me out with this issue.
