i meant 1 minute 30 average been cubeing about 2 weeks i use f2l which ive just learnt after useing beginners way the first week . after f2l (i allways start on the white side ) i get a yellow cross with ( f r u r' u' f' ) then get the cross matched with corners lineing 1 up then doing (r u r' u r u2 r') then get 1 edge matched up and rotate the othre 3 with (u r u' l' u r' u' l) until there in the right place then ( r' d r d') to rotate them the right way

could someone give me a list to all the uk based cube shops and a list of the best worldwide cube shops that ship (to the uk ) thanks
UK based: UKCubeStore is your best option.
Worldwide that ship to UK: TheCubicle.us is very fast (not as fast as UKCubeStore if you live in the UK, but still ~1 week), and slower but cheaper ones include FastTech, LighTake and Wallbuys.

Keyhole or F2L for a newbie

Hi, I'm completely new to speed cubing, I just ordered a Zhanchi to replace my Rubiks brand 3x3, and I want to get faster. I have less than 1 week before I compete against my school. Should I use the keyhole method which i have no idea what it is, or learn the whole darn F2L which is hard for me? Help please! (also, is vaseline a good lubricant for speed cubes?)

Vaseline is the worst option, it will eat through the plastic and that's how you get a broken core.

Don't worry about learning a new method, keep going with what you know for the next week and understand that speed doesn't matter. As for learning the "whole darn F2L" I personally believe that shouldn't be taught, instead an intuitive version is the most adaptable to cubing.

ok I used vaseline, and i use the beginners method so im not sure how well ill do. also, i am buying either guhong or zhanchi it seems people love zhanchi but i read in a post the that guhong never gets stuck unlike zhanchi. so which is better buy?

Vaseline is useful for breaking in storebought's, buy NEVER use it on a speedcube.

As for the best cube, if you want something inexpensive, then the YJ Sulong is a good choice; I have a review on my YT channel.

Also, you should start learning intuitive F2L from badmephisto or RiDo; and 4LLL; I have a guide on my website and there's a link in my signature below.

I really like Sebastian Weyer's PLL parity algorithm. He performs it differently than most, and he does it too fast for me to see what he's doing. He performs it in this video at 0:30 and 1:11. Could someone please tell me what the algorithm is and explain what finger tricks he's using? I can usually figure out what people are doing, but his TPS is too much for me. I'm having trouble figuring it out.

Looks like the one I use.

Can someone use cube explorer and find the scramble for the first solve? I misscrambled and I can't figure out the actual scramble. I can't figure out how to use cube explorer.

EDIT: make that all the scrambles.... apparently they're all wrong?

Am I really sub 23?

All my Ao100's are 22.xx. But when I'm not warmed up, if you ask me to solve I average around 23-24 seconds. So what am I?
