Case 1, is there a parity algorithm that would work for Yau5? That one messes up the cross if the pair that needs to be fixed is in the middle layer.

If the parity edge is at UF with the other empty slot at UB, all that alg does to mess up the cross is just swap the UL and UR edges, or in other words doing a U2 to the cross edge. So, if the parity edge is at UF, I do the parity alg with an extra U2 attached to the end, and if the edge is at UB, I do a U2 to set it up to UF and then do the parity alg (which puts the cross edge back in its place).

But I do this because I use M-slice pairing for L4E, so this is the easiest way for me. If you use E-slice pairing, you should definitely go with Username's suggestion of doing F/F' + parity alg + F'/F, because it's better than rotating the cube just to do the parity alg.

Anyone willing to be testers for some of my new stickers out? ^^

Cheap prices might mean bad quality stickers, dont buy a batch too big to begin with! Also if you do go online be ready to get a lot of orders. You also need to be ready to comply. And one very important thing is to have perfect stencils. I have Izos Zhanchi fitted stickers and ALL of them have one bad corner sticker. That sticker is always the first to chip, and once it does, it is basically ruined. If your stickers are imperfect and dont fit the puzzle, they will chip very fast even if you have high price quality vinyl.

As for colours, I'd go with half bright set for starters (regular red and blue) and maybe a full bright with fluorescent red + a lighter blue. You might also want 1-3 choices of yellow, blue and green because those are the colours that differentiate cubers afaik. Most just prefer fluro orange and fluro/regular red, so a variety of those colours wont be necessary to begin with. Also make sure your stickers are big enough so that they cover enough (But not too much!) of the piece. Too little and you will look like a cheapskate + it will hurt lookahead and too much and they will chip fast = same result.

I'm willing to test them out too :P Good luck with it; you can be succesfull if you can match IZO's prices with even decent customer service. IZO's flaw is that customer service is absolute s**t. thecubicle stickers are awesome but a bit on the pricy price for international customers as you have to buy for 15 dollars worth to get free shipping.

@ubercuber,

thanks for the detailed explanation!

I'd be more than happy to test some. Are you planning to offer fitted stickers for different types of cube?

I totally agree with all of these points, the imperfections with Izo's and the recent poor service have been pretty disappointing. I do like the way that Izo sells in 2 packs and offers free shipping on all international orders though.

I have a range of colors from Fluroscent orange, pink, green, yellow
regular Blue orange green yellow and white
And various shades of purples

are those decent clolors?
