is the rubik's clock still used a part of the WCA competitions ?.the reason i asked is because i can't find any rubik's clocks to buy and am wondering from where the competitors ge:confused:t it from ?
Yes they are still an official event.
If you're having trouble finding them, try ebay UK. The UK seems to have a very large number in proportion to the population so you should be able to find a couple on there pretty easily.

How much did you over lube? like double what you normally put in the cube? I'm using traxxas 50k and maru so I don't know how much over lubing will help increase the speed.
I just took out the washers but then one of the sides had the springy sound while the others didn't.. I would've preferred all of them make the springy noise or none..
Yup, it's slow for a Zhanchi. I had always hoped the mini Zhanchis would be just as good as the 57mm one only smaller, but it hasn't really been the case.

yes.... I have mine set at 3/4 turn away from maximum corner cutting tensions but it's still really slow.

Hi guys. I'm sort of new to speedcubing. I actuakly started last July, but stopped for about 4 months from February to June.
I was just wondering what "standard deviation" meant in my averages.
Could anyone explain what it means?

Standard deviation
In statistics and probability theory, standard deviation (represented by the Greek letter sigma, σ) shows how much variation or dispersion exists from the average (mean), or expected value. A low standard deviation indicates that the data points tend to be very close to the mean; high standard deviation indicates that the data points are spread out over a large range of values.
No cubes need the plastic core itself to be lubed; When someone talks about lubing the core he/she would usually mean lubing the hardware meaning the insides of a center piece, the screws/springs and the small area where the center piece touches the core. Hope this helps.
