I'm having trouble getting some of the center caps off of my shengshou 7x7. I've even tried using a flathead screwdriver to pry them off. Suggestions?

If you used spray based lubes like CRC and jigaloo, it could have fused the plastic. If thats the case it will take a lot of force. You might have to take the puzzle apart completely.

I'm getting corner twists on my Florian/konsta modded ss 4x4, does that happen to others too? I dont quite know if I like the tensions (may be too loose). I'm just curious if anyone else has encountered the same problem, not really looking for a fix or anything.

I have the same problem I think it might be caused by overmodding.

Do you get them often? I just got my first one after quite a while; When I got this cube my average was like 40 seconds slower than where I am now.

Also would you guys consider Ao50 as a good number of solves to base conclusions on? Or does it have to be Ao100 or even more? I need this info for comparing modded and unmodded SS 4x4s.

You could do a full statistical analysis, work out your variance and see if a difference is statistically significant to p<0.05 :p

I could, but that would require me to have the empirical data already and doesnt really answer my question. It's mostly about how people perceive the difference between the most common averages, and I'm trying to discover what is the "smallest" average of solves that is deemed as accurate for my purpose.

A better statistical analysis would then be about what average people deem as accurate.

My comparison focuses on the difference between the std. deviations of the averages.

Assuming you scramble white on top and green in front: X2 Y R' D' L D' F' D' F2 or X2 Y L D R' D2 D' F2
I would go with the first one.
