Whenever I solve my Wittwo v1, it locks up a lot. This is because a part of the corner goes into the inside of another corner, causing a terrible lockup.

is this a question?

I think he is trying to ask how can he prevent that from happening
Now I have recently received a WitTwo v1 from zcube.cn and it is quite excellent. However I did not know how to properly assemble it at first.
My problem was the little pieces that simulate the edges on a 3x3x3, but obviously they are hidden within the cube since it is a 2x2x2. What I did wrong when assembling it, was that I failed to realize that one corner of the 2x2x2 is supposed to be locked in it's place, relative to the internal mechanism. This is to prevent an alignment issue (all even layered cubes have some sort of misalignment prevention mechanism). So if you own any other 2x2x2 try this:

1. Spread open the 2x2x2 by grabbing one layer with each hand and lightly pulling
2. Look inside at the center to find a screw
3. Perform the move R then R' while observing the screw
4.a) if the screw moves with the R face then your focus face is the R face
4.b) if the screw does not move with the R face then your focus face is the L face
5. Perform the move x (your new screw is the one on the face you just rotated to), Perform the move U then U' while obeserving the new screw
6.a) (if 4.a applies to you) if the screw moves with the U face then your focus bar is the URF and URB pieces
6.b) (if 4.a applies to you) if the screw does not move with the U face then your focus bar is the DRF and DRB pieces
6.c) (if 4.b applies to you) if the screw moves with the U face then your focus bar is the ULB and ULF pieces
6.d) (if 4.b applies to you) if the screw does not move with the U face then your focus bar is the DLB and DBL pieces
7. Perform the move y (your new screw is the one on the face you just rotated to), Perform the move R then R' while observing the new screw
8.a) (if 6.a applies to you) if the screw moves with the R face then your locked corner piece is the UFR piece
8.b) (if 6.a applies to you) if the screw does not move with the R face then your locked corner piece is the UFL piece
8.c) (if 6.b applies to you)
if the screw moves with the R face then your locked corner piece is the DFR piece
8.d) (if 6.b applies to you)
if the screw does not move with the R face then your locked corner piece is the DFL piece
8.e) (if 6.c applies to you)
if the screw moves with the R face then your locked corner piece is the UBR piece
8.f) (if 6.c applies to you)
if the screw does not move with the R face then your locked corner piece is the UBL piece
8.g) (if 6.d applies to you)
if the screw moves with the R face then your locked corner piece is the DBR piece
8.h) (if 6.d applies to you)
if the screw does not move with the R face then your locked corner piece is the DBL piece

Or you could just use your own common sense to find the piece that when moved, moves the mechanism with it, but my OCD kicked in and I wanted to finish my flowchart-esque instructions lol. So if you can find the locked corner on a different 2x2x2, you should be able to find it on your wittwo, however if you cannot, then there was a problem when assembling it.
What I did wrong, is I took the edge pieces that you assemble, and I didn't realize that there is a locked 2x2x2 corner and that the reason it is locked it because 6 of the half edge pieces (3 edges) have a little bit of extra plastic on them, and these are all supposed to be grouped together. Surround one of the corners with these 3 pieces and then assemble the WitTwo like normal, and it should be working fine.
However if you performed my instructions above and DID find the locked piece just fine on your WitTwo, then you have a difference issue altogether, and in which case this is of no use to you and this was a terrific waste of time haha.

Awesome explanation! :tu

My question : Can someone link me to a very well explained, detailed and clear 32223 edge pairing tutorial? I can't understand just from Feliks' walkthrough solves.

is this a question?
Yes, it was a question, but I forgot to ask it! Sorry!

Thanks so much! Tried it out, fixed the problem! :)

Godly Guhong the best modded cube?

Guys, I was looking at the Lubix Elite which you say you can do all the mods yourself so it's a waste of money. CamCuber's moded Zhanchi which people say isn't really moded since it's just tensioned and lubed. So was Godly Guhong considered the best of the moded cubes you could buy and not just because of the price? Or were there any other 3x3 mods you could purchase that were better?(I do my own mods, just curious).

I think there was a Zhanchi Silk that was supposed to be pretty good though I don't have one of those. I just know that people wanted them back.

Tried searching and I'm assuming this has been addressed but couldn't find anything. Kinda information overload in here.

I've got a Dayan cube and tonight somehow one of the corners has become mis-permutated? (I just made this up) It's faced incorrectly. I had this happen before with a Rubik's Cube and just ended up popping off the corner and moving it. Can't do that with the Dayan and I'd like to know how to fix it without taking it apart. Help... Pleeeeeeease.

Um I'm pretty sure you just have a twisted corner. All you have to do is grasp the unsolved corner and twist it either clockwise or counterclockwise depending on where each sticker needs to go.

Relatively New to Cubing

I just recently started cubing, and I'm most interested in 2x2's.

I can solve a 2x2 in around 50 seconds (not that great) using a very simple beginners method. It involves first getting the top layer thats oriented, getting the bottom layer, orienting it, and premuting it. This only involves 2 algorithims. It doesnt involve any cases.

I want to learn how to regularly get below 30 seconds, I have been days but no luck. I have tried different methods and it just confuses me with a bunch of complicated words. "OLL, PLL, F2L, 1-look OLL" bla bla bla.

May someone please help me?

Thank you, I know can comfortably do OLL at a moderate pace. I'm just wondering, could someone tutor me on PBL?
I find it very confusing.

If you find PBL confusing you could try learning Fridrich (2x2 style obviously :P). You solve the first layer then learn 7 algorithms for the OLL cases and then 2 algorithms for PLL.
