Any word on the Fangshi Shuang Ren mold problems? iCubeMart posted on their website and said this, "
As many of you already know, there was a problem with the mold of the ShuangRen. Funs Puzzle made an official announcement saying that they were going to fix it. However, there wasn't a simple, direct solution. They were going to attempt to remedy the current dilemma, and if that didn't work, they would have to restart the mold of the entire cube. This would've pushed the release date back to June. Fortunately, they were able to find the problem and have told us (via phone call) last night. This means pre-orders won't be held for much longer and cubers will soon be able to experience the capabilities I have been raving about
" So I was wondering, (although I do trust iCubeMart), if anyone would be able to validate this information or not? Thanks!

Re: The One Answer Question Thread

What would be the scrambling orientation for my mega?

White (star layer) on top, starting from top left clockwise : Purple, Yellow, Dark Blue, Red, Dark Green

Rotate on x axis to get last layer on top (grey), starting from top left clockwise : light blue, peach/light yellow, pink, light green, orange.

I really enjoy learning algs, I am learning OLL and intending to learn COLL and ELL afterwards. What else do you think is worth learning for a CFOP user? Bear in mind I am learning algs for fun, not to try and be super fast.

I would highly suggest learning alternative OLL algs so you can sometimes force your PLL to not be a diagonal corner swap.

COLL is very useful.

How to avoid or minimise cube rotations?

Im at the point where i average about 45 seconds and I use 2 look oll and 2 look pll. The part that slows me down is my F2L this is mainly because I havnt learnt intuitive F2L and when I do the F2L I turn the cube alot and i would like t know how can I avoid cube rotations or minimise them?

Do untimed solves, just choose two pieces to insert and think about the best way to insert them. Play around with the F2L, try different methods to pair the pieces and if you get problem you can use the Speedsolving wiki for specific cases.
