In general, it depends on the person. You'll have to try for yourself to see if it makes a difference. For me it makes no difference as long as the cube has cubesmith half-brights.

I average the same on a black cube as I do on a white cube, but only if the white cube dosent have black stickers.

I normally average the same but I wouldn't rely on that. At my last competition I was playing around with a black cube in the waiting area. Then I had to inspect my white Guhong and simply did not see a thing o.O Completely failed that average sorry for ot.

Saw a tut on how to make a Zhanchi smoother. It said to take out the washer. Does this make it better? If so why?
