StackMat Timer

I want to know whether a stackmat timer is worth gettin. What are the pros and cons to a regular smartphone? DO i need to buy a mat? Does a mat come with a timer. Living in germany, an entire set costs 44 euros, and living on a pocket money income, i just wanted to think twice before spending the money.

The timer is fun. But I use prisma timer on the computer as I barely use the timer except when at competitions.

I'd say.. if you are tight on money.. to rather spend it on something else :)

I would say I average a tad bit under 25 seconds. Is it time I start learning my N perms, G perms, and V perm? Or should I wait until I am sub-20. I know, I'm extremely lazy at learning algs.
