As an cube it is okay. Not as great as a Dayan cube. I had one and it broke after I fell on it on slippery ice. As a cube it is good, especially for a beginner. When I had it I got fast times on it and it is really smooth. Requires force to turn, unfortunately, and silicone sprays make the cube horrible, differential oil makes it kind of okay.
I advise you try it out yourself, after all it is really cheap.
please give me a brief review on shengshou 3X3 speed cube..?
is it good..?

How long is shipping for a sticker set on puzzleaddictions? I've ordered a sticker set from Izo and am wondering when I'll get it. Additionally, whats your favorite color scheme? I've ordered Izo's favorite set as I think they're nice and vibrant.

I just ordered some yesterday afternoon. 8 minutes after the order I got an e-mail that it has been shipped with the tracking number. USPS estimates that I should have it by Saturday. So it's very fast. Hopefully the post office won't decide to delay delivery like it sometimes does, but even so that wouldn't be puzzle addictions fault.

As for my favorite, I don't know yet.

is the moa clock any good?

If you're referring to the Chinese Majic Clock, then it's not bad. The springs can get weird though, and twang and your clocks can go from 12 to 6. Lubing and possibly changing the springs helps. I sold mine to Iggy and he averages sub10 with it now.

Roux users who also use other methods: If you have all of F2L done (by accident) after blocks, do you just do LL?
And expanding on that, do you do the 2 gen <R,U> U perms when you get them in Roux? (F2L skip after orienting L6E) i was wondering cause they're generally faster, but i guess unless you predicted the F2L skip, the recognition and transition would be smoother just doing <M,U>

I'm not a Roux user, but just letting you know that <R,U> and <M,U> are both two-gen.

oh yeah, i just naturally call the <R,U> U perm as the 2 gen one, and i think most people would know what i mean.
but thanks for the correction, i fixed it :)

im considering buying a timer, but where ever i look it is kinda expensive for me..

is getting a timer worth it, or will pc and mobile timers do the trick????

please reply to my comment and not to the thread, because otherwise i wont receive a notification..

Thanks! :D

depends. Usually not, but that's because I'm already in "roux mode" so I don't really recognize that it's done until I start CMLL, and after that there's really no point in doing another OLL.

I do the <MU> algs using roux. When I use CFOP I use both the RU and MU algs, depending on the AUF, but I'm generally faster at the MU alg. Same thing with Z perm.

I'm a CFOPer through and through, but I'm considerably faster with the MU algs than the RU ones. So I wouldn't call one of them "faster", it just depends what you're good at.

Uhm, so in the middle of a 4x4 solve, the internal piece of the ss4v3 misalign with the core. (The 'legs' on the core that lock the internal piece in place) Resulting that the cube can only turn on 1 single axis. E.g, only L or R moves can be done while others like U,D,F,B can't be execute at all. I tried fixing it in without taking apart and find it near impossible because it is the internal piece that misalign and my fingers are too big to reach them. I ended up reassemble the cube.

So, my question is, if this happen in a comp, is it a DNF? Providing that you can't fix it and the only way is to disassemble a small part of the cube.

You are allowed to partially dis--assemble part of a cube to fix a piece. Can't remember how far you can go though. 5 pieces max iirc.

nope, CMLL LSE is faster, though sometimes i'd accidentally do OLLCP then get a EPLL
