I am trying an experiment. I am going to take a 50mm zhanchi and glue eastsheen 2x2 piece to the corners. Theoretically this would be a zhanchi feeling 2x2. Has anyone tried such thing? Or does anyone know of it would work?

Does anyone know if exist two algorithms of the same lenght in qtm that orient the last layer (oll) in the exactly same way and that are not inverse ?

how long does the lubix lube 2cc stays...by lubing a 3X3 cube....?
which one should i get d39 silicone spray or lubix 2cc lube...?
and how much a 10 ml maru lube stays by lubing a 3X3 cube..?

one more question...
how much time will lubixcube.com and icubemart.com take to ship to india...?

Should I get a 4x4 just to increase my 3x3 times? I've heard it makes solving a 3x3 a tad bit more comfortable and easier.

What I am trying to do is take the favorable zhanchi mechanism and turn in into a 2x2, that would be legal in competition too.

I think it would be the best do cut down all the edges, so they dont stick out when you do M(1/2) for example. Than bandage three of the edges to a corner. This helps the allignment of the middle layers. It would be a mechanism comparable to a wittwo.

What do peolpe usually average when they get their first Sub10 Average of 12?

Sub 10 :D

yeah and if I get an average of 5 sub10 I'm also sub10? :P
I once had back-to-back sub10s and got an "average of two" sub9. Thus I'm sub9

I was asking about the usual average

probably around sub12, but certain people may get lucky and get one when they are just sub13, others really consistent so by the time they get that they are already like sub10.5, etc. Somewhere in that range would be my guess.

That is not why I got a 4x4, but that was my experience after solving one several times. I found the 3x3 suddenly much less mysterious. My hunting/seeking F2L times went down as I realized, there's just not that many places for the pieces to hide. Mind you, I'm a mid-thirties solver, so that feeling was probably exaggerated for me.

Yeah, i knew you meant this :D
btw, were you at the nationals?

Another question:
Is it generally better to "destroy" the f2l-cases with the edge in place and corner on U?
I tend to leave them there to get a better lookahead, but I feel like it is slow.

I am not very familiar to modded/moddifing puzzles, when you say bandage is that basically saying to glue the edge to the corner? (sorry it's such a stupid question) I understand how the wittwo has that kind of mech.
