Slice moves on my SS are working just fine for me after I partially florian modded it and loosened it more. Haven't even lubed it and it wasn't at all uncomfortable for that sub-50 K4 average I did the other day. It really is just personal preference. If you have big hands, chances are the dayan would be better for you, as the SS is pretty small.

shengshou is generally accepted to have the best bigcubes now.

Unfortunately this is true :(
I still prefer V-cubes, but I seem to be one of a very few number who do.

Yeah, I have tried modded SS's and they are good, but I just prefer how the dayan feels over the SS. Also, I don't have large hands but it makes it easier to have a bit more room to push on to fingertrick slice moves imo.

What are the standard naming conventions for OLL, CLL (same naming as CMLL?), and ELL algorithms?

Standard naming? 1, 2, 3, etc...
As for the "colloquial" names, depends. On puzzles like the square-1 if every edge is swapped with the one clockwist from it it's called an O-perm, or an Oa-perm, or a tippy-top-face-roundabout-swirly-swap, or Larry. or Parity (that's the way I use it).

Stackmat mini mat, what is the distance between the holes?

Those holes that are in there that fit with the stackmat timer.

Just wondering if it might fit a QJ timer v3 or not which I have on the way. And as I have a smashed v1 here (thank you crappy packaging (none)) and I doubt the positions of the screws have changed I can check and compare.

If it doesn't fit, then I may get me a big mouse pad instead, hence ;)

Center/center=16.5cm on my stackmat timer
C/c=15.8cm on my Lightake stackmat mat, so I have to stretch it a bit to make it fit. Eventually I will make the holes bigger for a better fit.

With the table; watch one of my one handed videos.

Edit: seems to be unlisted. Uhm. I will publicise them again tomorrow.

Basically there are two ways. Both use the table to serve as your right hand. The first way is to rest it at a 30 degree angle from the F face and push as if the table was your right hand. The other way is weird, when I re publicise my video you'll see how. Also, kirjava has got videos of the first way.

Edit: this may work
