In theory, is it possible to solve any cube (2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, etc.) using just commutators and conjugates? Also, it possible to solve any cube BLD using just commutators and conjugates (remember, in theory)?
Basically, yes. Any 3-cycle of pieces can be solved with comms and conjugates. However, if you get a bad permutation parity, you require one single quarter turn (not connected to any comm) to fix that, at which point the whole cube can be solved with 3-cycles (if you are doing BLD, you'll want a longer parity fix than one single move though so that you don't move a whole bunch of pieces around, which you really don't want to do when BLDing).

How do I corner cut? (question from a novice cuber)
Dunno if this is the right place to ask such a question, but I have a question regarding how to corner-cut a cube. I got a Dayan ZhanChi a few weeks ago (my first real speed cube), and they say corner-cutting would be excellent out of the box. I tried it out on my cube, and I failed a lot (even just at one cubie's-width turn [i don't know how else to describe that term]). Do I have a faulty cube, does it need better tensioning, or does it need lubing (because mine came unlubed, and I have never bought any cube lube before)? Or do my fingers need better positioning in order for the magic to happen?
You need to lube it before you can make any assumptions about it's corner cutting, also try tensioning it. If it's popping, tighten it. Try find some CRC or Jigaloo. Get lubix or traxxas if you can wait a couple of days/weeks for shipping.
Thanks for the suggestion. I personally have a nervous feeling about CRC/Jigaloo, so I'll see if I could try ordering lubix or traxxas whenever I have the time and money to get it, and then I'll try improving my cube.

For pyraminx, is there a better way to solve 4 flipped edges? When using keyhole (is keyhole youtube oka?) I sometimes get this case and it's stupid and slow to do the 2 flip twice.
Thanks, but ive watched every video related to rubiks magic and i cant find any help. Its been stuck in the same two positions for the past week..Ive spent countless hours messing with it..
