i and then U2 after? I asked about this a while ago and was told y2 was faster. Now i think they lied to me

rotations are never faster than Us. Especially y2s.

Some people use different algs for the U2 version of some PLLs. But some PLLs have better algs than others... For example I'd recommend learning the U2 variation for your U perms as they can be really easy and fast.

How stupid would it be to tape off all but the surface parts of the pentagonal pieces of my tuttminx then spray paint it white? Would this work?

my question: are there any reliable cube shops based in china? and for the mini zhanchis which size would be better for OH 55 mm or 50 mm if you feel the normal sized 3x3s (guhong and zhanchi) are a little too big?

That alg is wayyy to long to be using.
For China I would have to suggest LighTake. Get the 55mm.

That was 2 algs and I guess I'll just stick with chinese ebay....
Would ~2 mm make a difference? I don't have a lot of experience with smaller cubes. The 3x3 cubes I have that aren't normal sized are the rubiks keychain and the mini diansheng.
