Take an edge piece and a corner piece. Hold them together as they would fit together in the cube. The base of the corner will slide between the torpedo and the bottom of the edge piece. In that area where the base of the corner slides through, there are two little "bumps" or ridges. Just press your nail across them and you'll see that they create a bump. Take an edge, like scissors or some kind of knife (be careful) and scrap that edge off until you can run your nail across it and barely feel it. There are four to do on each edge, 12 edges, hence it's name the 48-point edge mod.
Those are some mods for the zhanchi (not just edges). I've done all of them, but the only ones that seem to improve it are the Corner piece mod and 48 Point Edge mod. Lots of people like the CPM (center), but I didn't notice any major difference.
I am talking about moderators issuing a warning that is not an infraction when a new member posts a stupid question thread. I think there needs to be more strict punishment, I get away with too much ****.
Anyone noticed this? I chose to buy a white colored zhanchi with the hopes that it looked as good as white Vcube3. Guess you can't have performance and aesthetics in one cube. Dayan new molds please ;p.
when i try to move this piece, which is core peace in fact,it goes off,i mean,it works like screwdryer or whateva...
i'll post a vide later, but if anyone could help in any way,it'd appreciated = )
I made a 4x4 siamese cube out of my 2 eastsheen 4x4's, scrambled it and solved it, but i got parities on both cubes and the other cube has the oll that flips 2 opposite edges(the oll color looks like an 'H') need help in making algorithms for those. Note: i can only turn R, Rw, U, and Uw on both cubes. really need help..
I read that you should put dayan screws in your ss6, but that doesn't work for me, SS screws are flat, but dayan screws have a bump on top, it just doesn fit right on

I just got a qj skewb, how can I make it good? Also, I just got a shengshou 6x6. Without mods that involve shaving down pieces, what can I do to make it better?
If, at a competition, I am registered for the first two events, and I know that I will not make the second round of either, do I have to stay at the competition for the whole thing?
