Ok, but are many cubers registered? I registered a long time ago, but I'd like to know if it's a "common" thing to do, and if the map can be taken accurately.

I don't think it's very accurate because I'm pretty sure there's cubers in Wyoming and South Dakota and it's not on the map.

What's a good beginner video editor to start with?

Whatever your computer gives you. Windows Movie Maker/Live on PC works great, as if cuts, Undos, and has a few animations, which is what you need.
iMovie is AMAZING if you have a Mac. It does a lot, and I HAVE used it.
Remember, content is what matter most.

i have trouble with the turning of my cube (dayan LunHui, Alpha 6 and Dayan Guhong), one of the each side is not normal like the other, it very hard to turn.
how matter i set the tension very balance, but the trouble is still so.

I've heard the Mefferts is a LITTLE better, but the mf8 v2 is so much cheaper, you should probably go with that (although it's a little tight and slow out of the box). As for tiles and normal versions, the normal version just has stickers, and the tiled version has tiles. The mechanism itself isn't any different. It all depends on personal preference, but I hear the tiles can fall off pretty easily.

Keep them on with superglue (except for the centers, but I think there's a mod you can do for those). For lube, any lube will work, I'd recommend diff. oil (such as lubix), but CRC works fine as well.

Yea, it should be fine. You might even be able to get away with posting it in the Buy/Sell/Trade section (I've seen other people post non-cubing related things there).

Same thing happened to me. I learned all PLL's and some OLL when I started to learn Roux. But dont worry, its fun

I was in the exact same situation as you a couple months ago, at like 25s.
But now I'm really happy I switched because I was finding CFOP boring.
And look, I've taken Roux pretty far, now one of the fastest... And I'm actually enjoying it. Sure I could get like sub-10 with CFOP if I practiced but that's no good if I didn't like it.

If you like Roux, just switch. Think of the horror of being sub-12 with CFOP and not enjoying it. On the flip side if you don't like Roux don't switch, or you'll give yourself unnecessary trouble.

I think boredom with CFOP is why I gave up cubing for like 3 years... learning algorithm after algorithm and making very little progress just sucked all the fun out of cubing
I guess learning roux wouldn't hurt, I've already spent time learning HTA (well worth learning, it's really interesting!)

i think most people use this one. a bit tricky to get used to but can be very fast.
Edit: basically your first alg but from a different angle, and <R,U,D> instead of <R,U,L>

What Chris said. I used to use the "triple sune" myself but saved a lot of time when I made the switch.
I use my left ring finger for both the D and the D' turns. Definitely takes practice but really worth it.
