What kinds of cubes did they have back "in the good old days" i.e around 2003? Was it all Rubik's brand or were their type a's at least? This has probably been discussed, so a link to a thread would be nice :D

Is there an advanced version of the Pyraminx that isn't the Prof. Pyraminx? (Like a Master Pyraminx, but that is mass produced). Just like a Pyraminx, but with 4 layers instead of just 3.

Nope. A few have been made (like this one), but none have been mass produced.

Where can I learn to solve the cube using the Human Kociemba Method?
Not sure, but I'd like to know this too. It's strange that there aren't any tutorials out there. Is it similar to Human Thistlethwaite at all?

From what I understand, the type AI was the first speedcube, so they would have most likely used that (I think it was released sometime around 2003-ish). I wasn't speecubing "in the good old days," so you might be better off asking someone who was.

Don't know of anywhere you can buy single torpedoes, so unless you want to get an entirely new set of torpedoes...

Since you say you're using a Lunhui, I'd recommend just upgrading to a Zhanchi.

ok thanks but I want the part ASAP
As far as I know, there aren't any shops in the U.S that sell individual pieces. However, I do have a few spare Zhanchi torpedo pieces lying around (they look slightly different, but I already tried it, and they work fine on the Lunhui) that I could sell you, feel free to P.M me.

I think Kirjava should hopefully give you the best explanation, but I think the idea is first to solve the cube like it's only got 3 colours, so treat opposite colours the same. So when you have say all yellow/white on top bottom and blue/green on side and red/orange on front/back (or however you end up holding the cube) then you can finish the cube only using half turns.
