So when I'm told that you usually can do the cross in about 7 moves, is it in HTM or QTM? And, who uses QTM? If HTM is more common, I guess this is what the WCA uses? Thanks!

HTM. And yes, the WCA uses HTM for things like FMC.

whats a good way to get used to white plastic cubes fast?

EDIT : Sorry, I thought you said "get white plastic cubes fast". I'd recommend using them over and over again.
And now a question of my own - Does a program like Cube Explorer exist for 4x4? If so, where can I find it?

Jigaloo as a break in tool?

Guys I was reading someone's post about modding a cube(Guhong or Zhanchi I think) lubing it with Jigaloo for a week or two, taking the cube apart, washing all the Jigaloo out then lubing the cube with Lubix. What do you think of this idea and have any of you tried it?

I put some crc silicone in my Guhong and washed it out, put diff oil in. I don't know if it's the 48 point edge mod I did or the lube but it's better/faster than my Zhanchi. I think it's the lube but I'm not sure.

Well, lubix only lubes the core. It would be beneficial to lube the core AND the pieces, however, because the core is lubed, use less jig a loo.

Seriously people, I really need help with these.. I was going to resticker and removed old ones, but I didn't noticed the color scheme until it was too late..

Dunno about 'standard', but the scheme on QJ pryas is:

Put the pyra on the table with a face facing you. Green bottom, yellow front, red right, blue left.

For mega it depends what stickers you have as to what schemes you can use, and there really isn't a standard, just the ones that come with the different brands.
