any other methods? even kind of bad ones? because I wan to know what it out there then figure out which i like best. I average 3:30 on 5x5.

AvG. Erik Akkersdijk uses it to be sub-1:15 on 5x5x5. I'm still much faster with AvG than with freeslice, despite having tried for quite a while to switch.

Okay cool well I've only been cubing for three months so ill try the big names first and see how they feel thanks for the help
i would recommend cubes like the cubeforyou 3x3 (faint clicky - fast), maru 3x3 (clicky), or alpha 3-f (crispy) since you've only been cubing for 3 months the big names wont help you as much as they would if you picked them up later on

Big names might not help with times, but they can sure feel nice... for example I'd much rather use my ZhanChi than my Maru or C4U because it's so much more pleasurable to me to turn/fingertrick the ZhanChi than the others. This just a noob's opinion tho :)

Are there any good tutorials for 3-2-2-2-3 edge pairing for 4x4 and freeslice tutorials for 5x5 edge pairing?

Thanks in advance

If you can turn/fingertrick faster you will turn/fingertrick faster naturally, so your look ahead will be worse if you are beginning.

This. It's essentially the same stuff as Lubix but for much much less money. I've used it in direct comparison on 2 Lunhui's. They were both swapped to C4Y cores and hardware. Because of this the screws bottomed out in the core. This not only put them at the exact same tension, but also my preferred tension. I lubed them both by measuring out the amount of the lube Into a clean plastic syringe and completely emptied it into the respective cubes. After lubing, assembling and doing 3 slow solves on each cube, one with Lubix, the other with 50k weight diff oil I found that they acted and felt exactly the same. I took the one that I Lubix'ed and use it at work. I do at least 2 averages of 12 at work every day so the cube see's use. The diff oil one is my main. They've both been lubed for about 2 months now and still feel identical.

I haven't tried Maru lube, but I've heard reports that it doesn't last long in your cube.

At what time in 3x3x3 does someone become an intermediate and what time would someone leave the intermediate phase?

There's no set time.

However in my opinion:
40 seconds is where you finally understand the method, basic blockbuilding.
25 seconds is where you are starting to become an expert but not just yet.....
