Most people will recommend anything by Dayan (except the Tayan). Guhong is still probably top of the list.

That's cool ill check into that... some people were telling me shengen was pretty good for speed solving... what do y'all think of shengen?

imho, it's all a matter of taste.. try out the "big names" and see what feels right to you. For me, I love the Zhan Chi (Dayan 5) but some swear by the F-I or F-II. My Guhong (Dayan 2) was awesome for me until I got my Zhan Chi (Dayan 2 (GuHong) and F-II are about equal for me - they have different pros/cons)

But it's really up to how the cube "makes you feel" i think. try a bunch out and see what you think!

Get a speedstack stackmat. you can get a timer with mat and a competition bag for like 30 dollars maybe cheaper.
