When doing PLL do you do the algorithm and then orient the top layer so the cube is solved or do you orient the top layer first so when you preform the algoritm the final result is a solved cube? just wondering becuase i learn all my PLL algoritms and started to try to use them while speedsolving and relaized i do not know which method above to use? or does it matter? thanks

personal preference, but it depends on the alg. For any alg that ends in U, U' or U2, I wont bother to AUF before the PLL because its easier to do afterwards. However, some algs like T, F, etc, don't end in U so it doesn't matter whether you do it before or after.

Is there a 4x4 parity alg for solving two edge parities at once? For an example: If edges A, B, C and D aren't solved and they are configured like AC, CA, BD and DB how do you solve them all at once instead of grouping A and C then B and D.

Bump!

I have an Ultimate Lubix Guhong, and when turning it into an Ultimate, I guess they completely disassemble the cube including the, washers, screws, etc. Although on Lubixcube.com, the video showing how to lube your cube, he only takes off the edges and corners, and lubes where the core the center pieces meet, and then on one edge. I was wondering, how often, if at all, should you completely disassemble it to completely it to lube it?

I usually clean out my cubes every 3 months-ish

whenever they feel gunky or slow

I've recently started trying to find semi 2gen algs for my 3gen F2L cases, where the edge is inserted flipped already. Ive been working with double layer turns along with single layer, to no avail. Anyone know a site with what I need?

What's wrong with just doing a quick sledgehammer of some kind and then happily continuing with your <R,U>?

The corners should go in fine, then use your hands and spread apart the corners, and then place the edge in, if you can not get it by yourself, have someone else hold the corners apart while you putt the edge in :)

Or if it's still too hard to putt, you can try using the sand wedge method...

My lunhui is good and it hardly pops, but when it pops....the edge piece takes along the side corners with it,how to stop this? What to do?

that will always happen because the anchors or torpedoes that hold the edge in hold it in by being stuck under the corners. So for the edge to come out, either the torpedo has to come off or the corner has to come out. If youre asking how to stop popping, tighten your cube.
