Is CMLL and CLL the same thing with different names and what puzzle their generally applied to? (CMLL;3x3 and up) (CLL; 2x2)

not the same thing
CMLL solves the last layer corners without preserving the M slice and last layer edges. It is used for the Roux method, most often 3x3, and sometimes larger cubes when Roux is used with reduction.
CLL actually refers to two separate alg sets. One is for 2x2, and the other is for 3x3 and up. The set for 3x3 and up preserves the F2L, but does not preserve orientation of the last layer edges.

For 5x5, does anyone have an algorithm that can switch two wing edges without messing up anything else on the cube?

Sorry this might sound stupid, but i just messed up the tensions on my lubix guhong and now its not becoming as good as it was before, please help me ! (why on earth did i do that)
There's really nothing you can do but redo the tensions yourself.
If you haven't tensioned a cube before, start with making all the tensions even, then loosening/tightening all sides equally until you have your optimal tension.
