How does people get their DaYan MF8+ from being a crappy poppy 4x4 to an amazing cube? Seriously. 4 months with mine and can't solve even once without a pop.

Take it completely apart and lube the internals with lubix.

Bright blue will give 11.2% better F2L lookahead, while Light Blue will give you 17.3% better LL recognition.

How long will the effects of Lubix last on a cube? It's a Guhong I ordered, it hasn't arrived, but I paid for Lubix Care Service on iCubeMart. I've seen people say they lube their cubes about once a week, so I'm starting to think it was a bad idea not buying some lube as well. Especially because it takes so long for packages to get to my country. I'm buying more lube in a month, but will the effects last long enough?

Short answer: I'd say lube it every month.

Lubix doesn't evaporate or degrade itself, so it will last as long as the cube is kept clean. I haven't lubed mine in 2 months and is still good, cubing every day. I think it depends on how moany pops you have (the pieces fall to the floor and collect dust). Also the quantity of dust in your environment. The friction also creates plastic particles that mix with the lube.

If your not 5x5 competitive it doesnt really matter

Btw its better to get use to both black/whiite cubes
