I know this sounds stupid but how should I be "fingertricking" the U perms? For CW I have to regrip once and CW I don't but I execute it in a way which gives me lockups a lot. Can't even sub1 the CW (1.0x) and the CCW has to be flawless execution for me to get sub1.
Video would be more helpful than text methinks.

If you do this Ub perm: R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R'

Sorry, I can't find the youtube video where I leart this from.

A nice fingertrick would be the following: Basically, three movements. Group the perm like this: (R2 U) (R U R' U') (R' U' R' U R')

First burst (R2 U): do R2 like R2' with your right thumb on the BRU sticker and right index on FRD sticker. Tilt the cube with your left hand (L) if needed. No regriping of the right face needed.

Second burst (R U R' U'): Standard sexy move.

Third burst (R' U' R' U R'): Again right thumb on BRU sticker, and do the U' with left index. Again, no regriping of the right face.

I hope it makes sense. The secret is to apply pressure with your left intex (for the last U') when the right face is moving.

I just lubricated my cube with silicone spray and now it wont cut corners at all which is making it slower... Did i use to much or do i need to add more or wait for it to dry a little???????

Which cuber has the most algorithms memorized, and approximately how many?
Would there ever be a situation where you could physically not learn new algorithms (for the average person)? (either muscle memory limit or brain power limit)

If you're good at M/M' moves, the <MU> U perms are nice. If not, then just ignore this.

Is anyone else having trouble with gqtimer? When I go to the site all I get is this

I've never had any problem with gqtimer, and I use it a lot.

What is/are the ''advanced'' method(s) to pair the edges in the 5x5?
FreeSlice
1. Should i get an a-V or a ghosthand II based off your experiences
2. i have no silicon and need to lube my cube... do silicon based products work just as good?
1)AV
2)Not every single one. Go to the Speedsolving Wiki (Top of the page>More>Speedsolving Wiki>Lubrication). Nice list of lubricants, effects, and reccomendation.
What is the best way to remove jigaloo from a cube?
Wash it out. Preferrably in warm to hot water.
I just assembled my guhong and did it like the lubix ultimate except for the edge mod. I haven't stickered it yet, but the cube feels really flimsy and has popped twice really quickly. Do I just screw it in more or is it like this?
Tighten the tensions.

Does Cubesmith give a tracking number when they ship an order??? or how do you know if they shipped it? I payed some sticker some time ago and I don't know if they shipped it, but don't know if this is normal.

It took almost 2 weeks before they shipped mine. I got an email when it shipped. After it shipped they were here in a day or 2.

Does any series of moves on a 3x3 repeated enough times bring the cube back to solved?
Example, (R U R' U')x6 solves the cube.
(U2 L F2 L') repeated solves the cube.
(R U') repeated solves the cube.

Is there a faster way to break in a black v5? it just doesn't seem to be improving much.
I dont know if you remember but there was that guy that made a machine out of a drill that spins the layers really fast essentially breaking it in. The only thing i can think of is to lube it with something the softens and breaks the plastic a bit in order to give it the feeling of being broken in. Or you can do some general sanding

Yea I remember that, however I don't really have the tools to do that. I was thinking sanding as last option but if it doesn't noticeably better by saturday, I guess I'm going to try that out :/
