To do that you'd need the V-5 core pieces. Those aren't sold separately anywhere. The only way it could be done is if you pre-modded the cubes before sale or allow people to send in their cores and have them modified for a charge.

I have a V Cube 7 and never played with it for about 3-4 months. Today when I picked it up and started turning it, I felt how loose it had got. It was never loose before this happened and now it is popping a lot. Any suggestions?

You might want to look at this video by Me Myself and Pi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiPPFVjja0Q, might offer some assistance with the issue :)

How to know in inspection time that which CLL will come up on a 2x2 after completing the first layer.

asking that because i've heard many ppl say that they plan out the full solve during inspection time itself

I can't get the last 2 center pieces in. They are diagonal from each other. Damn this cube is soo freaking tight my thumb is in pain from trying to get it in. Any tips? Would it be worth my time to try and take out an edge piece then put the center in?

edit, ok after 20 minutes finaly got it in. and my finger started bleeding. awesome.

CLL has the most difficult first step out of all the 2x2 methods that I can think of, so predicting the CLL case is much more difficult than predicting the cases you will get for other methods.
I think a lot of it comes from learning to make the first layer in the fewest possible moves, and then, lots of experience.

Normally I don't make posts like this, but...

I had got to the point on 3x3 with Fridrich where an individual 18 would be terrible. I was even beginning to look down upon 17s. Then I started practicing 2x2 and bigcubes more. Now I just picked up my 3x3, and this happened:

number of times: 46/46
best time: 15.18
worst time: 31.87

current avg5: 21.24 (σ = 0.99)
best avg5: 17.38 (σ = 1.04)

current avg12: 19.18 (σ = 1.59)
best avg12: 17.94 (σ = 1.12)

session avg: 19.01 (σ = 1.92)

I currently feel like I want to dropkick my 3x3 somewhere and never practice 3x3 again. How can one keep themselves motivated when **** like this happens?

In May, he began to develop a social life with friends. Around June, he started dating some girls, and by July, he had a girlfriend.
All his time went down the drain and he began to enjoy hanging out with her more than cubing.

Around September, he met a new girl, who completely swept him off his feet and he began to pursue a relationship with her.
She was his friend with benefits, and those 4 months were the best of his life.
Half the week, when he wasn't at school, he was at her house, and it was wonderful.
She even drew his speedsolving avatar.

He had completely neglected the cube and forgotten 80% of ZBLL, and 75% of ZBF2L.
But he didn't care, because he thought he was happy. ;_____;

Then she left him, and he was miserably sad.

So in order to cope with the sadness, he started cubing again, and by tomorrow, he will know all of Sune and Anti-Sune subsets.
He still knows 2GLL and a good fraction of the T set.

i read ur cubing journal and u won a 30$ contest
what was the prize for 2nd place and what was his time?

ubercuber. i hate it when that happens. You do solves and get bad times and you feel like your going backwards and getting worse. That happened to me today but it was partly because I was using a white cube which REALLY throws me off.
