thanks but how does that make the cube any worse? it would play the same right?
Im guessing that since the caps are sealed, that makes it a set tension. So non-adjustable.
If you were to go on f2l part of speedsolving wiki, what cases would you say are the harder ones?
An easy way, if you learned F2L intuitively, is to look at all of your F2L algs that you figured out, and see which are the longest, have the most cube rotations, etc. But I find all the non-2gen ones a pain.
EDIT: speaking of non-2gen, does anyone know how many out of the F2Ls can't be done 2 gen? like (non 2gen)/(total)
I could look it up, but it isn't that important, jw if anyone already knew.
How do I make a rubiks brand cube good? I have seen some vids on youtube but most of them suck.
From my experience, some just suck so hard there is nothing you can do about it. and Some are amazing with only little work.
@ryanreese - dont know about the MF8, but I used lubix and crc on my chinaminx and it helped alot. I lubixed the whole core, like a 3x3, and crc'd the rest.
I have decided to start learning the 2x2 and 4x4. Should I first learn the Ortega method or learn the algorithms for the 4x4?
Considering there is only a few 4x4 algs (3 i can think of), I'd learn those. Unless your learning K4 or something, lol.
