I have recently started using fingertricks for F2L,but i am having big pauses between pairs,i am not able to adjust with the pace of my solve,I have to keep changing my hand position again and again,it changes when i make a rotation or when i use empty slots.I know efficient solutions of all F2L cases,but i am just not able to keep up with it when using fingers,what should I do...practice more?

slow down. you need to be able to look ahead and see what piece you're gonna do next before you finish the one you're on. slow down, lookahead, and practice

Yes, keep practicing. Also, try looking ahead.
Here's two videos that I think you can benefit from.

The most important thing is to keep practicing.

Im currently slowing down and looking a head. For the past few weeks i havnt timed myself, but just sat mostly doing f2l and trying to find new ways to be more efficient. Im not great at f2l as i pause a decent amount so take advice of other people but...Just practise and look ahead hehe.

@AndreaBananas

I ve already seen these long time back when i used only hands

Now I've started using fingers so i should be fast,but i'm going slow :(

i averaged 30 with hands,but I'm averageing 35 with fingers,my LL is faster with fingers than it used to be with hands,but F2l is slow with fingers,i dunno whyy

Well then, practice and be patient. Just because you start to practice something doesn't mean you'll improve instantly. You'll improve eventually.

What's a good brand of skewb? and magic?

I prefer LA magics, don't know why. But I solve them a lot better. With my rubik's brand, 1 in 5 solves gets fudged because it doesn't flip right, but my LA, hardly ever.

BTW, I have an used loose rubik's and a new tight one. and the LA is new and pretty loose with thinner tiles, which I prefer and have a ~1.4 avg.

^^ just be patient.
Does anywhere other than the V cubes site sell legit black V5s?
