Of course. Try to avoid getting the super glue on the outside the cubies though.

The irritating thing is that most of the smaller competitions are few and far between, plus they don't announce them or give hints about them until they are official, which is usually only about a month before the competition.

I think you the best beginner method for corners is one where orientate every corner one by one with 2 algorithms, then solve them using setup moves and J-perms. It's much easier. Old pochmann requires you to do a different setup move depending on the case, which makes it harder on memo and execution.
