@ilkecubing:
E1) Regulations are as described in Article A (Speed Solving).
Additional/special regulations for Fewest Moves Solving are described below.
E1a) The maximum length of a solution is 80 (moves and rotations).
E2) Procedure for Fewest Moves Solving:
E2a) The judge hands a scramble sequence to all competitors with a print of the scramble position. The judge starts the stopwatch and says 'Go'.
E2b) The competitor has 60 minutes total time for solving the scramble in as few moves as possible.
E2b1) A judge should announce the remaining time after 30 minutes, 50 minutes, 55 minutes and 59 minutes, and 'Stop' at 60 minutes.
E2c) At the end of the 60 minutes the competitor must have his solution written down clearly for the judge, notation according to Article 12. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.
E2d) The metric to measure the length of the solution, is Half Turn Metric.
E2e) The solution of the competitor must not be in any way related to the scrambling algorithm. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.
E2f) The competitor must be able to give a clear explanation of the solution.
E3) The competitor may use the following objects: paper and pen (both supplied by judge), 3 cubes (self supplied), unlimited coloured stickers (self supplied).
E3a) Penalty for using other objects: disqualification of the solve.

E2 is really what you want, but you should read the whole thing anyway.

Almost 1000 pages.

How good are cubetwist stickers? Is the yellow faded on black cubes, like other non-cubesmith stickers seem to do for me?

Their shades are really similar to Cubesmith, I could compare it with Rubik's brand colors. So no, the yellow isn't faded at all.

Am I doing something wrong that makes me prefer my Alpha 1 over my Alpha 5, GuHong, and Lingyun? All are tensioned the same (really loose), and lubed with the same lube (lubix)

I don't have a 4x4 to practice anymore.
I can't use white cubes because of color distortion.
QJ locks up.
Maru doesn't produce anymore...
YJ only makes white ones.
rubik's is out of the question, obviously...
I also can't use big size cubes. Tiny hands...
Which 4x4 should I get that's available in black?

Yeah, wasted a post saying this. Back off.

Good idea, thanks. If it uses a V Cube mechanism, then that means I better get it quick before V Cube gets their handds on it.

well from what ive heard/seen and whats been speculated, its a cross between the v cube mech and the eastsheen mech

EDIT:
1001 page
(:

here is the thing
just finally got a sub 1:30 solve on my 4x4
It is a dayan, so of course it had to pop. but it popped on the very last turn and i had already stopped the timer
It is completely solved but the one edge that popped out.
So in a comp is it +2 or DNF or considered solved?

Also I really hope it counts because this is my first sub 1:30 and i got really lucky.
