Is it possible to adjust the tension on a mini QJ 4x4? If so, how cause I don't see multiple screws?

How to read an algo like this: Ri Ui (x U2) Ri L Ui B2 (Just something I came up with, I dont get the ( and the ))

How about cutting corners? I have no idea what it means! I've been speedcubing for 3 years and i still have no idea what it means.

"Noob" question: I use the reduction method on the 7x7 (centers, 3-long edges, 5-long edges, 3x3) and I have all of the 3-long edges except one, which has a flipped center. Algorithm plawks?

(Rr)2 B2 U2 (Ll) U2 (Rr)’ U2 (Rr) U2 F2 (Rr) F2 (Ll)’ B2 (Rr)2

it can be applied to 4x4x4 too if you know that algorithm for flipping the dedge

I know the 4x4 last 2 edges alg, but this is a weird one. I have them all, it's just the center of one is switched. And, how to you flip 2 corresponding outer edges?
(Not really used to 7x7 notation ;-; )

Edit: Ohhh, I recognize that alg. That's the OLL parity.. not really anything to do with edges.

technically the center isn't switched. the otuer 2 wings are.
When you do the Rr2 B2 U2 Ll..the peices you include in there will be flipped. so if you only want the outer 2 peices to be flipped then just grab them

if you need inners to be flipped on the 7x7x7 just do the R2 (though on the very inner most layer that needs to have the peices flipped)

if you need then i can make a quick video explaining it . though it's very basic. just do that algorithm to inner layers/outer layers and see what happens. toy with it
