My MF8 square 1 pops like crazy. But, if i tighten it, it becomes horrible because it's so hard to turn. So I have to turn more accurately I suppose.

ugh... I cant remember totally, but I think I remember reading that black is crap. I wouldn't buy one until you get another answer from someone. Unless you're buying a yellow one, in which case, go for it.

If you put vaseline in your 3x3x3 and you don't clean it well enough, then if you put silicone in it will it show as silicone gathered in one place because thats what happened to my 3x3x3

you can always see the silicon, it usually leaves a white residue on the plastic.

It may or may not be related to the vaseline you had in there. Silicon+Vaseline= Glue. bad times

Center caps, yes. Corner caps, I can't see any on mine, but I would of glued them in if there were corner caps so I'm not too sure.
