LL is pretty good
Mini QJ is good as well
YJ is good, if you don't mind modding it and if you are careful enough to not pop it :3

My guess would be chinese wax. Puzzleproz used to sell them in large tubes, but he's disappeared. Luckily, I still have half a medium bottle left though.

Hello!

4x4x4 last edge pairing algorithm needed.
Here's my cube.
The dedges in FL and FR are the final two edges.

What I would usually do in this case is flip one of the dedge's orientation with (R U' F y x') then use (u' R U R' F R' F' R u) to finish.

Is there another algorithm that isn't too long that will finish this edge pairing without (R U' F y x') at the start?

You could do a R2, or you could do the last 3 at once instead do the last 2

Or switch to K4

I try, but most of the time I go from 4 or 5 dedges down to 2 in one pairing.

So if I notice I have parity, I can do that alg from any angle (with parity on top)?
